Central Texas College Cafeteria — Local services in Killeen

I'll give props where props are due, the food is amazing here. There's a large selection of drinks to choose from, that are actually good. However, if you plan on spending a dollar or two on a drink, I'm sorry to say that you'll be very disappointed. I payed $3 for a simple Starbucks cofee thingy that you can get for the same price in a 12 pack at Sam's. But to spend that much on... it gets better. There are vending machines here too, that are literally created to discourage you. You typically spend a dollar on every item in a vending machine, but here, you have to pay from 80 cents to $1.25 like what? Who has 80 cents lying around? And why are there items in the machine priced at $1.10? Who's gonna walk up there and think "Thank GOD for this extra ten cents because now I can spend my lucky dime I found on the floor" literally the craziest thing. Oh but the food is good so um, 5 stars. Plus they have Sports Fuel, and that goes hard so idrc...

There are no words I can describe that place. It's fun, lively, pretty peaceful, beautiful, modern, and just a big wonderful cafeteria that serves better food compared to the K-12 schools I went to before. I'm going to be a student there tomorrow so I can't wait to be in the cafe either before or...

The food is actually decent, for school. Pretty cheap price wise if you maximize your options.
