My family has been doing business with Bousquet's for many years and we have always had a good experience, until my last one. On 10/3 I went to Bousquet's to buy a new washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator for an apartment I own. I spoke with Jack and asked if he had any apartment packages. He showed me four new appliances that I liked, quoted me a price of $1,600, I agreed and paid. At no time did I ask about scratch and dent, and at no time did Jack mention scratch and dent to me as a way to save money. Even if he had, I would have refused, as I wanted new and undamaged appliances in the apartment. When the appliances were delivered, the stove had a small scratch and the refrigerator had several very large scrapes and scratches on it. The person who was there to receive them sent me photos and while I could live with the scratch in the stove, I could not believe the damage to the refrigerator. I immediately called the store, and when I spoke to Jack, he told me that I had purchased scratch and dent appliances! I insisted, very firmly, that I had never agreed to buy scratch and dent . He then told me that he'd be happy to sell me another refrigerator without scratches and dents for an additional $150.00! The next day I spoke to the owner, Jeff, who originally also insisted that I had bought scratch and dent but eventually agreed to exchange the refrigerator for an undamaged one. The reason he was insisting that I bought a scratch and dent was because the salesman, Jack, had inserted "s/d" in a tiny font on the lines near "stove" and "refrigerator" on my receipt which I had not noticed when I paid for the appliances. Not only did I not notice those letters, but would not have known what they meant even if I had seen them. When I spoke to the owner, he said that the s/d was "for internal purposes". Great, except that as the customer, I had no idea that the salesman had just changed my order from new to "s/d" without my knowledge. If you are going to buy from Bousquet's, I would suggest that you confirm prior to paying that you will not be getting scratch and dent as an unpleasant surprise on delivery day. And be sure that your receipt does not have a tiny "s/d" inserted into the line by your appliances that you would never notice or, if you did, know what it would mean. I am happy that Jeff agreed to give me a new refrigerator but the experience left an upleasant taste in my mouth that will not soon...
   Read moreThis is an updated review. Bousquet's Appliance has been amazing! I had a problem with my refrigerator that was difficult to solve. They were consistent and thorough with more than 1 visit to repair the issue. The fact that I could call and get progress updates on the final repair was very reassuring. This level of service in my opinion is the reason I purchased my refrigerator from a local vendor instead of a box store. My compliments to Bousquet's Appliance and their support system. The technician was great and very good natured on his visits. John is a top knotch person with great insight into the repair of appliances! My dogs will miss him. Bottom line is purchase from your neighborhood store. . Thanks to the Bouquet team!!;
The firm was extremely easy to work with and provided accurate information about my purchases. My refrigerator had failed and they helped make a purchase that would minimize my problem. Their crew were excellent and paid attention to detail for removal of the old and installing the new. Excellent service and I highly...
   Read moreCould not be unhappier with the service we've received. We paid $90 upon first visit on a Monday with no work being done and were told our fix would be completed by Friday. After no communication through the week we called Friday to check when they'd be coming. The employee stated "if we had the part we would have called you." So if you're looking for communication and a business to meet deadlines this is not your place. Proceed to the following Monday when they come back to make the repair from a repairman that "didn't order the part" and "didn't diagnose it" so I guess that's our fault? The fix was clearly not done right before he even left and now we've had to call back again today (tuesday). They're not available to come out today, because they're too busy taking new jobs before finishing old ones. So I guess we will wait while our appliance is still broken having now paid $170 to fix it. If you want a timely fix and for a job to be done right, I would strongly not recommend this business. It has been nothing...
