This little barn is a big dose of joy! The minute you enter you can see and feel the care that went into every beautifully arranged display. So, so much to see in all corners of the store. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Items and displays change seasonally. I got a good deal on the perfect wreath for my front door and some hand lotion for the kitchen. Get on their email list for updates on sales, rewards points, and events. Plenty of parking. Looking forward to seeing what's new next time around!

Oh my goodness..I love this little family business! I'm so very pleased with everything I've ordered and received! Beautiful..good quality merchandise! And those candles are amazing..the wonderful scents make my house smell so welcoming! A plus is them taking the time and using the best packaging filling out there! Truly appreciated..for I'm a distance..North Carolina mountains! Thank you!

Really wanted to "love" this little shop as I am all about keeping it local. First of all, it's very beautiful inside and well done. Upon walking in we were hovered over by an employee...I felt like they thought we were going to steal something! I chose 2 small items and was looking further . The employee that was "stalking" us asked to keep our items behind the counter for us....uhh ok whatever. My husband chose 2 reusable cloth sponges. When I went to pay and asked for my other items they didn't even know what they were at first. When I replied no thank you to the offer of receiving their emails only because I just get sooo many, the woman scoffed at me. And finally, and shame on me for buying them...the sponges had no price on them and when I checked my receipt they were $25!! Labeled Audrey's, I checked them online...although they were out of stock, they are $10!! Oh and made in India not USA. Again, I always support local but would never return to a local shop that scams their local customers...$15...maybe even $18 but $25??! Shame on me and shame,...

When I moved to East Haddam from Westchester, NY I wasn't sure where I would find a place to buy home decor like I was had become used to in NYC. Then I found the Rustic Barn and was overjoyed to see a small shop with so many lovely things - from small items to large decor pieces - it met every single need!

Meeting Lisa, Boss, Mom and the rest of the Rustic Barn team has been a gift. They are helpful, patient, kind, energetic, and TALENTED. The will assist you with styling the smallest space in your home or a large room with the same passion and creativity. I look forward to every trip into the store and I am in awe of the beautiful items Steve has made which now call my house, home.

We went to pick out a beam for our mantel at her husbands shop , he was so helpful with helping us pick one out . He is a nice guy and he does beautiful work in his shop , so talented! He then told us about his wife's place down the RD , The Rustic. Barn and I am so happy he did cuz I loved everything as well as her beautiful smile and warm personality . I bought pillows , a huge sign and a lot of other odds and ends that look beautiful in our home . They are both warm honest people and have a great business to share with the community ...... the next Chip & Joanna hit Killingworth Ct !!!
