DG Market — Local services in Kingsport

This newer Dg marketplace has several regular items $.50 to $.75 more than other local Dg's in its immediate area. It's just kinda aggrvtn during these economic times to see a place exploit prices becouse of its surrounding area. Even 30% of the ice cream is more at this location. Just compare the prices to other local Dg's and anyone will be able to see difference. Canned cheese for example in photo. I just dislike seeing this location following WMT tactics and having to go to a different DG 7min away to save money. Also, the smaller Dg was super nice and actually bought me a 1 liter coke for having to go through line twice. I went there today when they first opened to find a toy that the website showed in stock. I’ve worked in plenty of retail stores and I know the online stock count is not reliable! So I wasn’t hopeful anyway. So I go in I look around obviously not knowing where it is and after no hope I find a female employee and ask her if she knows if they have the item and show her a picture. She rudely said “ if you looked on the toy isle and it ain’t there we don’t have it! I ain’t never seen that!” Then turned around and walked off. I shop at a couple different Dollar General stores, they have alot of product's and different brands to choose from, like clothing, cleaning products, hygiene, pet ,office hardware, supplies and grocery's but this is the only one around here that I have been to that carries produce, fresh veggies🍓🍌🍅🥒🥕🥔🌰🍇.
