Kingsport Theatre Guild — Local services in Kingsport

We had a great time supporting our local theater. The talent and production of the show was wonderful! At $15 per ticket, it was a practical date night. 2 negative points: first, the music was a bit too loud compared to the mics. For a musical, the sung dialogue is pretty important and the volume of the music made it difficult to hear and follow the story at times. Second, and I know this is a budgetary thing, but the theater seats could really use an upgrade to be made more confortable. We went on a double date so there were 4 of us and we were all sore well before intermission. Those points did not diminish an overall wonderful night supporting local artists. I very much look forward to seeing more from them in the future...

We came and saw "bright star". The play itself was a 5. The reason for a 4 is due to all the sound issues. It really was a disservice to the actors and the amazing show they put on.
