China Wok Buffet — Restaurant in Kingsport

I use to love the food here but I will never order from this restaurant again after the experience we just had. I ordered delivery which delivery was fulfilled by doordash and the driver was wonderful and delivered our food very quickly the food however was a different story and at $60+ was not acceptable. The noodles were disgusting they were soggy and clearly had been taken from the buffet because they tasted old like they had been sitting on a buffet all day under a heat lamp. Food lacked flavor completely, it definitely was not how I remembered it being at all and when we called to address this issue the lady argued with us and tried to blame the food quality on the door dash driver and claimed they cook all their food fresh instead of actually trying to make the issue right. I later found out that my card was charged AGAIN after I had made the transaction so I was overcharged for food that we was not able to eat and they was not willing to make it right and tried to blame doordash which was absolutely ridiculous considering the driver brought us our order very quickly and it was not his fault at all. We will not be ordering from here again and hopefully we can save someone else the trouble and money so they can order from someone who actually cares about their quality of food for what they charge for it and doesn't try to blame doordash drivers for...

My fiance and I have LOVED this place for years. The staff had always been nice and the food while not a lot was always tasty. We recommended it to our family for our 4th of July gathering. So imagine how bad we felt when we all go and the food was awful. It was all hard like it had sat on the buffet under a heat lamp all day. And when I could not eat all the food on my plate the waitress admonished me for getting another plate and leaving too much food on my current plate. If I'm paying it's my food and if it's hard and tastes bad I won't be bullied or gulited into eating it! My 81yr old soon to be mother in law was afraid to leave food on her plate after she heard the waitress fuss because of my plate. Needless to say this restaurant lost two loyal customers today and 3 others that could've been good customers due to bad food, rude staff, and dirty environment! Very disappointed especially when 2 buffets and 2 drinks was $30! Won't waste our money here ever again. Hopefully this will help others make an informed decision before wasting...

My daughter placed an order yesterday evening. The food quality was very bad. I ate here for several years years and it was very good. It's not anymore. One meal, we got noodles instead of rice,which after the transaction,they fraudulently added $4.00 extra which I didn't approve of. I threw mine away,after trying to eat it. I was so upset, especially with cost of order being well over $60. I decided to complain today. When I told the lady that the food tasted like it sat on the buffet all day, I was corrected. She said, the food was cooked fresh. Which was obviously not. Then, she then goes on to blame the door dash driver,when the food was delivered on time. We was not offered a discount, another meal or refund. I was treated horribly when I called. I will not order there again and for the cost of the food, I wouldn't recommend...
