Ive been to just about every haunted house in the surrounding houston area and this one is by far the worst. The actors and sets were great but the management was the worst I’ve ever seen, after waiting in line I reached the entrance and asked the attendant if my group would be going by ourselves or if we would be grouped in with others in which she responded rudely saying “we have too many people in line to break up groups” I turned to my wife and said “that’s going to suck” the attendant then told me “if you have a issues with it I can kick you out” completely unwarranted. I just laughed because of how absurd it was, she honestly needs to stay out of my conversation, mind her own business, and do her job.
While the haunt it’s self was fine for about 5 minutes it quickly became a huge issue. Because of the negligence of the entrance attendants and them rushing everyone inside to get through the line the inside of the haunt became a long line. My group had about 20 people in front of us standing still because of how crowded it was. This led to my group seeing every single jump scare before we were even walking by them, most of our time was spent standing around waiting for the people ahead of us to move. About half way through a line of about 30 people from what I could see formed behind us and the cycle continued where every scare was ruined for us. Just about every haunt ends with someone chasing you with a chainsaw. But because of the line that accumulated they were just standing in place and right after I passed them they turned off the chainsaw and started talking to another actor about the line as the group behind us was walking out. None of this is the fault of the actors it was solely management’s fault. At one point one of the actors yelled at the line asking what the hold up was and told everyone to keep moving, even they could tell there was an issues.
In short this place is just interested in getting you in and out and the rude employees do not care about your experience at all which is truly a shame because this place really did have potential. Your experience may differ but be warned if it’s busy and the employees are throwing a fit and not minding their own business you could wait an hour in line to get in just to wait in line to watch other...
Read moreOne of my biggest complaints about this house was the the cutting in line, the parking AND standing lines. The lot attendant was standing close to the driveway that only 1- 2 cars could fit at a time without blocking traffic. The line turning left got long, so jerks went around to the next light, u-turned, and cut in front of us. I saw it happen like 10 times when I got close to the front. The person in front of us was cut in line by 3 cars before they finally had to block traffic to get in.
While standing in line, people were constantly going around us. It was so frustrating. Easy thing to fix by writing and checking the time they arrived on the tickets.
Which brings me to... the tickets. What is the point of buying tickets online if you have to go stand in line to get a physical ticket? What's funny is that if we had bought our tickets on site, the wait would've been half as long, because everyone was in the online line.
The wait for us was about 2.5 hours. With the insane amount of people there, I understand. You have the option to upgrade to VIP ($20 extra per ticket) and completely skip the line.
The first part of the house was super fun. Lots of actors and different rooms and my friend and I were screaming and laughing constantly. Until we caught up with the group in front of us. We thought maybe we were just going to fast, so we slowed down a little, but then the group behind us caught up with us. So we sped back up. While we were close to the group in front of us, we never got scared. We walked into empty rooms and no actors in the woods. Felt like we were just going for a stroll.
Overall the actors were amazing. Seriously, all of them. The ones that kept the crowds occupied in line and the ones scaring. The giant mechanical things were amazing. Would I go again? Not without...
Read moreBest haunted house I’ve ever been to thus far!!! I took my kid and one of her best friends. Once we got there on a Friday night, it took maybe an hour until we got in the house. Got there around 8:30 pm. The line wasn’t too bad and they have live music and a dj that got the crowd going. Played all the hottest old school mix that a lot of the adults knew and was engaging with the crowd. Very hype and fun. It was like a party, people were dancing and distracted from waiting in line till their turn to enter. The actors were phenomenal and very in character. My favorite was this one guy that seemed to look like a psych patient and just looked scary and played someone who wasn’t all the way up there. He did incredibly well. He looked scary and his bizarreness and perfectly in character is what made him so freaking frightening.
Once we finally got there ohhhh my goodness. Couldn’t stop screaming ( love scary things which by now I thought I’d be immune) Laughed a ton with my kid bc how much fun I was having getting scared So many actors that were in character the whole time and great scary decorations and props. It was a good, long time in that haunted house too. And lots of obstacles to go through. If you’re cluster phobic or easily panics under pressure, I wouldn’t go bc there’s some obstacles that I found sooo fun and exciting that others may not. Either way had to write a review and thanks to this company for being excellent at what they do. The kids and I had a blast!!!! Worth the money and...
