My husband and I were enjoying a Sunday drive recently. Driving through Kirbyville, Texas we decided to stop at O'Reilly's to check the fluid levels in our Sunday driver. And I guess it was God that guided us to that location, because as soon as we were pulling into the parking lot, our vehicle broke down. Almost immediately, an employee of O'Reilly named Daniel came out to see if we needed help. Daniel and my husband diagnosed the problem quickly. My husband bought the replacement part, Daniel loaned him a few tools to make the repair right there on the parking lot and then we were on our way. Read moreBack when Elvis worked there it was a pretty damn good parts store. Used to go in so much they knew my by name. Now they have all these ,inexperienced ,couldn't hack it as a mechanic young punks that think they're made of sugar and might melt in the rain. Customer service has really went down hill. Used to they might help you do a charging test or let you borrow the tester for 5 minutes to do it yourself when they're busy. Now you're pretty well screwed. Used to they'd take the time to actually listen to what part you need, now they'll just hand you the wrong part and tell ya good luck. F this parts store. There's like 2 decent people left...
Read moreEmployees and staff are very judgmental and treat individuals that have a certain dress theme or maybe a certain poverty level as though they are thieves and never take their eyes of those individuals making the situation not only uncomfortable but very offensive especially during these hard times.
