I been going there since 2000 and I NEVER experienced an issue till last Sunday July.28.2019 were my son was going down the slide like nothing and when he comes and gets me to go with him guy name Erick was doubting his measurements since the tube were they measure touched his head but did not stood in his head. Mind you I never have heard such thing, he did not know how to explain to me reason why he could not let him down just that he didnt give the measurement, when I asked so how come all this time his gone down, his answer was "there is people that work here who breaks the rules but I dont" asked to speak to a manager he said I can speak to a supervisor thats when then I spoke to Gabriela who instead of measuring him down we need it to go up the stairs again and my son hoping it was just she making it happend. She then took like 2 minutes trying to see his right measurement "Again those not make any sence for 2 minutes to check a height" for myself and my son to go through the embarrasment for her to tell him no. I then ask to speak to someone hire and they call another supervisor William who did not try to do any attempt to see who let him go and what not and was just hypocrite being courteous about the situation. I asked hin for a paper and pen for me to write the names that I was about to ask and close the door on my face after handing it to me. I knocked on the door and he came out gave the names with no last names and said theres no manager there only supervisor. Nice way to manage a place" anyways we stood there and when I was walking towards the kiddie park to sit at the pool and they even came out looking to see where I was once they went in at 4:40 and saw me sit down they closed the park with NO REASON even the workers in the area were looking around and doubting why. I am not going to leave this like this because this was such an u pleasant day for my family of such a nice play we've vusit for years. But they have this young people working that do not know how to keep there rules along with everyone and do not know how to handle a situation maturely. Very...
Read moreAbsolute worst experience & waste of almost $75!!! Would NEVER go back. 1st, the food was expensive ($53 for just a small amount of food) we spent & it was not even barely edible. The chicken was dry, burger tasted fake, candy bars were melted because they didnt have them in a cool spot. We kept getting told everyone had to leave the pool for a "safety check" for like 15 or more min at a time so the lifeguards could practice. Parents weren't watching their kids, letting them run wild & butt my toddler in line at the kiddie slide where the lifeguard saw it happening & let it instead of telling the kids to be courteous! So she got sad & scared & didn't even want to go back up to wait in line again. The big slide was closed down even though the website says nothing about it being closed down! All in all, we got less than an hour of swim time in & didnt eat because the food was bad, I ate a lil bit of my sandwich but ended up with the worst stomach ache afterwards . We had NO fun! My kids left in tears because at 2, they closed the park because of a supposed storm coming that never came & there was not any rain or thunder. I asked the manager if we come back another day when the big slides open, would we have to pay again since we wasted so much money there today & he said yes that we'd have to pay all over again even though their website didn't say the slide was down & wouldn't give us any compensation at all. Im so sad my kids had no fun & we wasted so much money & the place is run by young kids that are nice yes but just not helpful or understanding. One last thing, there were women in thong bikinis that showed everything I'm sorry but not with kids around, there should be a dress code since its a kids place. I was planning on having my daughter's birthday here in the beginning of Sept but heck no, will plan something else! Horrible day for us & my poor kids! Save your money & frustration. I hope this helps others not waste money they dont have to waste for the...
Read moreSigned my 4-year old daughter up for a 2 week run of (8) 30-minute swimming classes for $60 - totaling 4 hours of instruction. I took her to the first class (30 minutes) but was unable to attend 2 classes (1 hour) because of work. 4 of the classes were canceled (2 hours) due to weather - I understand they are trying to keep us safe and this is no fault of the center, HOWEVER they only tell/txt you that the class is cancelled 5 minutes before the start time! So we had to drive over there each time only to be sent away.
One of these days the front desk person told me "well, the lightning is technically 12 miles away, and the rules say we have to close the center when it's 10 miles away, but we're just going to close it anyway because it's easier."
On the last day of the session they said I had to come in for a single 1 hour 45 minute session to make up all the cancelled time. I feel it is unreasonable to expect a 4-year old with ZERO previous pool experience to attend a class of this length. They were unwilling to schedule any alternatives and I was told I would just lose the money. I called and talked to people in the office twice and was told "oh well, this is how we do it."
They have group classes running for 3 more weeks, but even though there are available spaces, they have refused to allow any kind of drop in, even for just one or two classes.
Ultimately I feel I have wasted both my time...
