Osceola Campus - Valencia Community College — Local services in Kissimmee

Valencia College Osceola Campus is very beautiful. I loved my time there, the atmosphere was always calm… very relaxing. The staff was always very friendly, except for a mean professor that I’m hoping she’s not part of their staff anymore, and they always went above and beyond to help you… except for now.

Now that I’m an ex student it’s like they don’t care about me. They deactivated my email, which would be fine if it wasn’t for the fact that I can’t even access my own original work, experience, contacts, and ver important emails that I had there saved, without any notice. I pretty much harassed the school by calling and emailing them for about 3 days hoping that I would have answers without the need of going over there (I live far from campus now).

Long story short, I visited campus, explained the situation to the lovely staff, and they helped me do what I needed to do in order to have access and recover my stuff (which was to reapply). They never emailed me about their decision on readmission and it turned out that the President decided not to grant me the opportunity of becoming their student once again. Again, that is completely fine since I had already finished my degree with them, but I didn’t have time for this. I didn’t have the time of having ANOTHER obstacle on the way. Time was running out. I decided to write her an email explaining the situation and they never got back to me. No one ever got back to me. I lost all of the accounts I had created with that email and I also reached out to every single one of their customer service, but NOT ONE PERSON got back to me.

Someone told me that they still had their school email but that they deactivated the being able to email/receive emails feature and that they still have access to their documents. I was extremely skeptical about this outlook email at first and I feared that this would happen to me (lose everything) but I also thought that maybe I would be able to keep everything there forever. How wrong was I.

So please, please, please, don’t let this happen to YOU! Save your important documents elsewhere. Never have I ever begged so much in my life. I feel humiliated and betrayed. Never again.

Edit: about a week after posting this someone finally reached out to me and did everything in their power to help me. Unfortunately, apparently we were both very late.
