This was by far the worst place I have ever been to/rented from. My family and I rented one of the townhome vacation homes in Windsor island from June 14 - 21 through this company. Only to be utterly disgusted. For starters we were renting this home for an entire week and paid for early check in. Only to be told we weren’t able to do early check in when we arrived. So after waiting hours we arrived to the property, and were hit with a very pungent odor wafting throughout the home, also the back sliding door was also left wide open. The home was very warm, only to find out the thermostat was almost falling off the wall, and not working. After continuing our walk through the home we notice that the house is still dirty. The couch is disgusting, stained with WHO knows what, the sheets in some of the rooms have stains on them, splatter all over the walls in the kitchen from what looked to be food. Oh and to kick it all off as I was opening the kitchen drawers a BABY ROACH came crawling from under the utensils. I kid you not we all went running out of the house with everything we had brought inside already. As well as all of the cold food we had bought prior. Mind you we were already trying to contact the number that was left about the ac. We tried contacting anyone through the ring camera to let them know we were NOT staying at this property. We also found roach traps inside the pantry in the kitchen with roach eggs still next to it. After spending so much money on this rental we should have not been met with such a disgusting mess. Once we finally got in contact with the company they were only allowing us to do pest control. No refund, no nothing, then we finally thought we had gotten to someone actually professional, NO HE WAS A SCAM TOO! He told us that he can upgrade us to a new house, or we can get a refund and he’ll do anything he can to help us. Only for us to be ghosted after we found a house. It was already 3 days into the trip by then where we haven’t stayed in the home and had to spend more money to stay elsewhere. We’ve emailed, called, messaged and still no answer, no refund, barely a vacation. We are lost for words. How can you expect ANYONE to pay that amount of money to be sleeping with unwanted guests at your bedside, with the high risk of bringing them back to your own home. Completely unprofessional.

Date of stay June 28-July 5, 2025 Veranda Palms

This rental was originally booked on Airbnb with the hosts Hector and Ale. My nephew found the house and booked it on November 30, 2024, and we made our first payment. It sleeps up to 26 people, we had 23 people in our group, 18 of those people were adults. On April 29, 2025, Airbnb cancelled the reservation because of ongoing maintenance issues, Hector told my nephew that it was cancelled because someone had taken those pictures on Airbnb, and had created another listing for the same house and booked for those same dates. Airbnb cancelled both reservations. Hector changed to Casago Vacation Rental, Orlando, for the original dates we planned for. After that my nephew’s only communication was with Casago. The house is in a gated community only 5 vehicles can park at the house, we had 7 vehicles. There is over flow parking, but there isn’t enough over flow parking for all of the houses in the community. If you get an over flow parking space leave that car there 24/7 until you leave. There is a garage they call “ a game room”, no one used it, that’s wasted space,( the only things in the game room was a pool table and a golf mat) and room for two more vehicles. The house is in a very good location, close to a lot of restaurants and places to shop. We couldn’t get into the house until 4:00 pm, the cleaning crew stayed in that house until 4:00. My nephew told everyone to do a walk through and take pictures of any problems or issues that they saw, so it could be reported. The house had plenty of room, a huge kitchen with an island/bar with stools, 2 refrigerators( ice machine worked when they wanted), a big dining room table, 4 bedrooms on the first floor, each with its own bath room. Bedroom 1 had the only king bed the other 3 bedrooms had full beds. Most of the beds were really low on the floor, especially the Harry Potter bed room, the mattress was on the floor. There were scuff marks on walls and doors, paint marks where paint touch ups were needed. No backs on some of the tv remote controls. The towels in the room I was in were wet(I washed them) none of the outlets in the upstairs bathrooms worked, one downstairs that didn’t work, the shower curtain rod fell down in two of the upstairs bathrooms, the door knob to the laundry room fell off of one of the doors upstairs, the carpet had spots on it, the yard had bottle caps and paper in it, the trash bin was nasty, the water sprinkler busted and water was spraying in the air. My nephew called and reported all of this and sent emails on June 28, and they were ignored. A shower rod was purchased by one of the people staying at the house, the maintenance man (when he came Wednesday)put up the shower curtain that she bought with her money, and took the one that fell down!! The maintenance man was supposed to come Monday, but didn’t arrive until Wednesday, someone was at the house both of those days. It made me feel like, they got our money, and they couldn’t care less about us!! One of the people staying in the house got her car almost towed the first night, the back of the car was hanging over too far, they didn’t tow it, but she was still charged $125.00. Beware of the lurking tow truck, it drives around like Christine stalking the neighborhood to pick up vehicles, but not all vehicles were towed for that same thing(I have a picture). They originally told us $65 for the pool heater, to then told us it was $95. It’s $65 for the use of the grill the entire stay. The street we were on was loud at night, loud music, shooting fireworks in the streets, people out side being loud, but they will tow a car, and not have a noise ordinance, makes no sense to me. One and done with this rental service and Hector and Ale. Be aware of the parking situation...

Hello,

I wanted to take a moment to reach out and express my EXTREME displeasure regarding our stay. We booked this air bnb rental through Orlando vacation rentals.

We received a one page welcome letter that did not contain the gate code to Windsor at Westside Entry. Upon realizing we didn’t have the code I called three times to try to get a gate code. I left two voicemails and didn’t receive any call back. The security guard was nice enough to allow us in the gate. We had to go to the neighbors house to get a gate code which we used the entire 5 days since I didn’t get a callback.

Monday I called directly to Orlando Vacation to see if they had a contact for our property because the phone numbers you provided nobody is picking up the phone or calling us back. Orlando Vacation had to reach out to you all and they also never received a callback. Unacceptable.

When we got in the house there were several issues in the house. We went up to bedroom #7 and the bathroom next to that room had a broken toilet paper holder. It was placed on the wall to look like it was replaced but it was connected to the wall. Also bedroom #7’s bed dipped in the middle. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

The table on the back porch is falling apart. It was wobbly when we arrived.

There were very limited pots and pans. It is an 8 bedroom house and I would think there would be more cooking utensils. I had to go to Walmart to buy pots and pans to be able to cook and feed 14 people.

There were also many cockroaches in the home. With no bug spray or anything.

When we went open the closet door in Mickey room a part frame/door chipped off.

Overall the layout of the house is a really nice house. However, there can be a lot of improvements made for future stays for other people. Me personally, I would not recommend anyone to use your services. The lack of and NO communication is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! We spent too much money. The fact I NEVER received a call back is just outlandish.
