Last friday, I made the choice that we were having a birthday party for the boys. Ready set panic because I had a week to figure it out. Lol
I started looking at the bowling alleys, places to go, etc. And then I remembered Full Tilt Arcade & Pinball in LaPorte.
Talked about easiest party ever!!
It was as simple as getting online and choosing the package and date/time. Honestly, the easiest, most amazing way to get it handled. We chose the half tilt - which is where you rent out the party section but the arcade is still open to the public. Full tilt you rent the entire arcade. We chose Friday at 5pm. The packagss are explained well and they both come with game cards for your party guest

Convenient card system (uses cash or credit/debit) instead of needing to carry around quarters.
Their prices are generous especially compared to the old days of high risk high reward arcade games hard-coded to take your money, none of which I see here significantly: the claw machines have small items but are easy to win, the ticket games require skill as expected but not overly so, and the less gambling-related games, lets say shooters, like Big Game Hunter are a bit iffy (require skill) and need you to pay to continue after somewhat short rounds involving three shots where you have to kill three deer; compared to Time Crisis 4, which lets you continue forever if you're quick enough to dodge hard-to-see bullets and missiles, which is clearly harder than Big Game Hunter. For far less risk overall the dozen(s) of pinball machines are where it's at. Drop a $20 and you'll be able to play pinball for at least two hours, depending on your skill at getting free balls (which seemed to happen often for me), and you'll still have enough to try a couple other games when you get bored.
In any case, it's an arcade, there's a little bit of risk or gamble involved with getting the best bang for your buck, but I feel like they're generous here. And if you liked arcades when you were a kid, this one is the same thing. I say give it a shot... either for nostalgia or to try classic games that are more hands-on than...
Read moreI give it 4 out of 5 stars only because of how incredibly small the place was. BUT this business is only just starting out. They are growing. The games were a lot of fun and the prices were super cheap. This was perfect for my 7 year old daughter but my 4 year old didn't have many games she could actually play. So all in all they are doing a great job for being a brand-new place for Laporte.
It won't let me put another comment on here for some reason so miswell just add it on here. Given I said it was a small place I think I made someone upset. I stated in my first comment that this IS a NEW place. And it was a lot of fun. And super cheap. I know this business will grow rapidly I have so much faith bc our little town has never had a place like this. (or at least the 10 years I have lived here). It's PERFECT for only the beginning. Of something great you guys have done for...
