Lacey Elks — Local services in Lacey Township

On October 7th 2023 I had a 40th birthday party at the elks lodge. My family and friends had to help the people who work there set up the tables with the tablecloths and the napkins because they were running late I was having people come in and they were still folding napkins . The food was not good at all . My husband sent back the chicken franchise because it basically was just chicken and water . The rice was extremely dry and the roast beef was very tough . I’ve heard of blue collar catering other parties as well and the food not being to good . I was charged close to $3000 for the food which wasn’t good . I had a black fringe back drop and one of the streamers was on the floor . They complained about that and the people who were upstairs were constantly peeking into the room . They complained about the kids meanwhile it’s supposed to be a kid friendly place and it is definitely not . We left the room spot less . My company was helping the servers remove the tablecloths from the table and they also helped them set up the buffet table with the table cloths it was never done . I think they definitely over charge and then they complain when we did most of the work . Think twice before having food catered from...

So I have done several events here through out this year and no matter what I have to say with out being on any side , the Elks lodge and members here are beyond down to earth and give all there hearts when doing any event, from helping out behind the bar, nice job billy and Androse.... but no matter what the events are stellar from start to finish, the elks that come out are also some.of the most amazing people from all walks of life and from all over the state. Member for 37 years. Finally have an excellent food service provider. Food is GREAT !!!! Waitresses are prompt, on the ball, and very nice. Bartending staff, on the other hand , leaves a lot to be desired. I don't think they were ever really trained to be a bartender. There are a couple of good ones, but most of them don't have a clue. They are friendly, just not sharp... Overall, great place to hang for a few hours. Dartboards, ( no English boards, damn ), shuffleboard, pool table, pull-off tickets, outside deck for cancer sticks.
