I’ve been dealing with Stuller since the 80’s and have always been pleased until recently. I’m writing today bc of a cad/cam I just received. My customer has a 3ct marquise diamond that she wanted mounted in one of their rings. It was a 3C ring but they only modify up to a 2ct so they sent me to their cad/cam dept. I gave them the part number 124654 bc my customer took a screen shot of the ring she wanted and sent it to me. So of course I didn’t look for anything that’s similar, why would I do that? I spoke with them on the phone and told them what size I needed and she wanted platinum. They send me a request for approval and I glanced at it and clicked approve. I didn’t study the ring bc it’s so simple. All they have to do is change the center stone 6 prong mounting to house a 3ct. I get the ring in and while it’s very similar from the top, it’s a completely different ring. I called and they sent a return postage and I get a call today that they’re gonna give me scrap on it so I’m not out the full 1k. If you’re looking for cad/cam services, I highly recommend looking elsewhere! I wish I had outsourced their own design. Ridiculous….. I’ve changed to five stars bc they called me today and were very polite and said they were giving me the full credit. Read moreWe have used Stuller for mountings and findings for over 38 years. They have always been attentive to details, that is, up until now. We recently retired from brick& mortar and are working from home with an offsite studio. We have a separate shipping address from our home address, both of which we gave to Stuller when we moved. I recently special ordered a pair of platinum diamond contour bands, assuming they would be shipped to our shipping address, not our billing address. Nope, they sent them to our former business address which is now a vacant building! I emailed them and gave them the shipping address, then called to see if rerouting was possible. They were able to reroute it, but they sent it to our home address where there is no secure mail facility! Wow was I disappointed to say the least. I will have to spend my day worrying about where the package will end up since we have had porch pirates on our street in the past. Not happy at all. Read moreI wish I could give Stuller zero stars. I’ve been dealing with Stuller through Helzberg; still without my rings even though they were promised to be completed and shipped by May 7th. I called them directly to file a formal complaint and every person I spoke with wanted to pass the blame to Helzberg. Again, this was not Helzberg’s fault, they use Stuller as a wholesale jeweler for special orders. My wedding ring arrived without my engagement ring on the 22nd then the engagement ring arrived today without the center stone! This is crazy!!! I can’t ask to return them as they are custom and we wrote a check. I can’t even begin to describe how angry I am at Stuller after all the money we’ve spent. I feel like we got swindled.
