Timberline In the Glen — Local services in Lake Arrowhead

OK, so being a former antique mall owner I am very difficult to impress. You might say I'm a bit of a snob. And I definitely did not expect such an elevated antique store or mall to be in a smallish town of Cedar Glen. We dropped in over the weekend and were absolutely taken with the brilliant staging of it's wares, and though I typically do not like seeing Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, I swooned over the Christmas decor that prevailed around every corner. There was a Christmas tree for everyone that has exceptional style. Don't get me started on the booze tree filled with alcoholic drinks! I was smitten with the overall aesthetic and design of the layout and the very well selected antique objects for sale. Much was classic and would look attractive in any kind of home that embraces uniqueness. There were also a few extremely unique items that leaned into the mountain lifestyle, which I found charming. I left feeling totally in the Christmas spirit, on November 9th! I can't say enough good about Timberline...

I was a real estate agent in the mountains for many years. Timberline was the place I always took my clients. When I showed them our mountains I showed them Timberline. It has wonderful stuff--so much---displayed so well. Starting in September it is decorated for the holidays and has wonderful ideas, designs and ornaments. I purchased many things there but my favorites were an antique blanket chest and a set of 4 small dining chairs . The service is always wonderful. They offer a free interior designer who not only does mountain homes but homes all over the United States.My clients loved her work. You can find a treasure for 8- or one for 2000-. You can furnish a cabin or a mansion at this...

Very rude and nosey counter person. Lady in her mid 50's or 60's.. followed us around the store without purpose. Once my wife picked something she wanted to purchase as a gift for a family member, this lady TOOK the item out of my Wife's hands in an accusatory fashion and said it would be waiting at the counter for her. It was a $10 towel. Made my Wife feel very uncomfortable, and me very angry, however nothing was addressed I the store and we just walked out. We were not dressed poorly, we are very courteous foll.. no reason to treat us nor anyone else this way. Will not return and I will no longer be recommending my clients...
