We have recommended Surplus Warehouse to many, many friends who have also had positive experiences. I looked them up on Google to get their address to give to a friend and saw the reviews and had to put in one myself. The guys there are very knowledgeable and helpful. I just wish they had air conditioning. I also bought cabinets (Sunny Wood) from Surplus Warehouse in Lake Charles and they are absolutely wonderful. In reference to a previous poster, my wife has a severe respiratory condition and she has had ZERO issues. I would question his math and his motives because if it were as bad as he claims, he would have a lawyer and the EPA on his side. The cabinets are well made and simply beautiful. The flooring selection is outstanding and the prices are unbeatable. The front door we purchased sets our home apart in our neighborhood and a similar door was over 40 percent more at Lowes. We love entertaining and have a Bible study every Sunday evening in our home and we continually get compliments on our cabinets, flooring, and front door. Low prices on carpet but the staff isn't helpful at all. I've been doing business here for 4 months and every time I return it's worse. I assumed the workers were just new and that I should give it some time. I was very wrong about that. I'm more than sure that the owners have no idea about how the workers are treating the customers. I couldn't find one person that actually understood the inventory the times that i went. Everyone basically made me feel like an inconvenience because they had other things to do. I even tried contacting a manager but I was told she was busy and was asked to leave a message with "Willis" even though he had nothing to write with ... so of course never received that call. He is probably the same person that told me that they don't sell carpet while we stood in front of giant carpet rolls. This last visit took 3 days to get carpet cut. I'm very dissatisfied and I would love to explain my experience to the owner... I spend over $600...

*updated I’ve gotta say I’m genuinely surprised! This store went above and beyond to correct a mishap with a purchase. The owners themselves were aware and reached out right away..even ordered a replacement all the way from Beaumont. I guess I thought a bigger store like Home Outlet that I was just stuck with a sink I couldn’t use (especially since i had already customized the sink trying to fix) but no I’ve got a brand new one. They’re very down to earth and cooperative. ANYONE that has any kind of fuss about a purchase please do give them a call asap because they’ll handle it in no time.
