I’ve been over 5x since their recent opening in Lake Charles, La. Always great service! My first time they seemed overwhelmed and I don’t blame them. Place was packed and it seemed like they were short staffed. I was excited to try their Philly cheesesteak, being from PA and missing it. The main reason I decided to even try is because they had the hot pepper relish I normally have to have shipped to me from PA. The Philly was so good. Read moreThis was my first time experiencing Lenny’s. I must say I was pleasantly surprised on getting a sandwich. My friend and I got a chicken Philly. When you go here, don’t expect cold cuts. You will have to wait several minutes on your sandwich after you order, but the wait will be well worth it. The bread is fresh and your sandwich is hot. About a third of your ingredients falls off your bread, so get a fork unless you’re into finger food! My only complaint is the 7.5 inch sandwich was right at $11. I prefer Lenny's over Subway as far as food quality goes. The meat tastes fresh and doesn't disappoint. Subway has the edge in number of sandwiches, but Lenny's may be onto something by offering fewer. Price point is a little high, but you are paying for the quality.
