Godwin Brothers Grocery — Local services in Lake City

Very clean, well organized items on shelves, very neat, only a few of each shelved item, and the 2 ladies whom were running the cash register were VERY NICE! TINA WILLIAMS AND TAMMY EVANS (I THINK)OR TRACEY EVANS (There are sisters. 3 of them actually. All of which names begin with the letter T. Tammy, Tracey, and Teresa. I've known these 3 since I were about 12-13 yrs old and have never been able to keep Tammy and Tracey apart! I hung out with Teresa bc the other 2 were alot older than myself!) Anyway, this store has one flaw I can point out off the top of my head which would be their prices! There high! BUT, you've got to consider, this is a little country store on the our skirts of town! Its more for convenience than price! They also have a grill inside. They serve great hotdogs, french 🥖 fries 🍟, Cheese 🍔, Ham 🍔, sub 🥪 ham/turkey 🥪's etc! Godwin Brothers Grocery is an ideal one stop shop. This store is so convenient because you can purchase gas... grab lunch and even find items to buy that you haven't even seen since you were a child. When you think of your youth as a child... walking down the road to the "country store"...then this is it. When you walk through the doors at Godwin Brothers Grocery... it'll feel like you're going back in time as a child trying to make your favorite country store for some of the best goodies.
