Ford City East Shopping Center — Local services in Lake Township

I'd say my rating is above 3 but just under 4. There needs to be some improvements to the place. People don't want to go to a place that doesn't look current or like its kept up like it should be. Many places in the food court left over the years because of the rent. You can't up the rent all the time yet not keep the place up. Common sense will tell you people don't spend big bucks at a mall that needs better upkeep inside and out. Too many stores are empty. When i was in middle school we had a day off during the week. Security stopped us and even called the school to verify our grade did in fact have the day off. For years now its only gotten worse and worse with kids in the mall on school days during school hours. Right now with the pandemic we know schools let out early and obviously you'd expect to see kids there. Whether schools are open or its remote learning, the kids should not be in the mall during school hours. When Ford City allows this it tells me that they don't care that these kids are not learning and becoming more intelligent individuals. It also tells me that as long as those kids have a few dollars they will go with greed instead of what is right. Ford City is Not the only place doing this but I see it much more here than other malls. This review is not to just be negative. Its to give feedback and hope someone way up the chain will do something. The parents get 0 stars. I also get that the malls are not supposed to parent these kids but they don't have to let them in when school is in session. Security? Can't stop them and verify that school is open and the kids shouldn't be at the mall or verify that the kids are supposed to be home remote learning at that time? Yes not every child has access to the internet. But they aren't in the mall doing homework and on laptops sitting in the mall to get free wifi to study. There are some really great employees at this mall ( when I say mall I mean the whole place, restaurant's outside the mall and stores outside the mall but inside the enclosure like Marshall's, Ross, etc. These places are responsible as well. It comes from the top though and until the do better upkeep and such the mall will not get new stores coming in. I do hope they turn it around. Nice...

This is the most neglected CFX I have visited. How can CFX justify raising membership prices? If Most of the treadmills and bicycles are broken. Not only are they broken, but they are not even tagged as broken. It is very frustrating to keep trying different equipment until you find a working machine.
