Buyer beware! Horrible customer service. Very seldom answer telephone & NEVER returns calls. We bought a brand new Lane recliner on 6/14/2019 & less than 30 days later the material began ripping/tearing at the seam on top of the right arm. We go back in on Thurs 7/11/2019 with a picture of the chair arm damage & requesting to exchange for another chair. We didn’t want another one of same material so was willing to make even exchange & or pay more for another chair. We were told absolutely NO, that their warranty would ONLY cover it being repaired by them. No returns allowed. Never heard of such ridiculous warranties of no return on BRAND NEW items. So they tell us they’ll P/U our chair the following Mon (only day for pick ups & deliveries) because lady who repairs only works on Saturdays. By 4pm Mon 7/15 no one had came yet, nor for 2 hrs could we get anyone to answer phone after leaving 2 messages & no return calls. I go to store asking if they were still coming & was told yes sometime after 5pm. Finally they picked up with no info of when it’d be returned. Following week on Monday 7/22 after chair was supposedly repaired on Sat we waited for return delivery or phone call but heard nothing. Next day Tues after leaving message & several calls finally get hold of someone & was told they’ll deliver chair on Fri 7/26. Friday comes, No chair! & No word from them. Sat 7/27 after several more calls & no answers, finally get hold of someone & was told our chair will be delivered Monday 7/29. It is now 6pm Monday & still NO chair or phone call. So disgusted with these people. NO WAY WILL WE EVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THEM OR STEP FOOT IN THAT STORE AGAIN! Will be lucky if we even get our chair this week or maybe next Monday. Who knows? Their phone service...
Read moreI wish we would have checked this web page and read the reviews before we went to Lees and purchased a huge head ache. Like several other customers that left a review, we were told by lees owner Jerry that they can store furniture for us until we came back ,since we are only part time residents and wanted to purchase a bedroom set that had to be ordered. They could only give us part of the set because of the rest on back order. That was ok with us because at least we had the bed and a chest of drawers. We were told that next time we come out the rest would be in and we just need to call them and they can schedule the delivery. When we came out in November we called and scheduled a delivery. When the gentlemen brought our furniture there was only a dresser and mirror, but we were told by the delivery gentlemen the headboard was the wrong one when they took it out of the box. So when we called the store we were told they could not get this in the time we were here .so again we said ok and when we came back in January we called again for the headboard delivery. They scheduled the delivery and called us on they were supposed to deliver it and said when they took it out of the box it was broken. So after many promised calls that never came we went in and finally spoke to the man and he got us a headboard that was not even designed to the frame Jerry sold us. when the gentlemen could not install the headboard we called jerry and he said we were supposed to buy the side rails and foot board. Oh yeah by the way that was 200.00. Also wanted to charge us 60.00 delivery. When my husband asked to wave the delivery and give us some compensation Jerry hung up. We have never seen such poor customer service as received...
Read moreWe purchased a king bed in the amount of $922.83 on June 4th from Lee's Furniture at 22549 hwy 27 N. Lake wales florida 33859. We paid in full that day. a week or two later we received a call that the bed we chose was no longer being made and therefore we could not have it. I requested that our money be refunded. Cindy stated that they would send us a check. I waited for a week, and no check arrived. I called and left a message. I received no reply. I waited another week. I called and spoke with a lady who left a message for Cindy. Cindy never called me back. Still no check. I wrote them a message through their web site last weeked at the 2 week mark. I was told I would have a check by Monday. It is now Wednesday, almost 3 weeks since being told I would receive my refund. I still have no check. But you know what I did receive in the mail today from Lees Furniture....a sale flyer! Ha! I will not ever being doing business with this company again. This company needs to return my money for the product I paid for but they could not provide. I am disgusted that a company would do this to a customer. I should not have to wait 3 weeks....and who knows how much longer they plan on not sending it. At this point I think it would bounce if they send me a check because I no longer trust them. Normally I would get a refund directly to my card. I feel they have stolen from me. I see that I am not the first to complain about...
