Homestead Quilting and Fabrics — Local services in Lakeville

The store is clean and organized. Michelle stocks beautiful fabric and lots of notions and extras. Homestead offers many classes to choose from and all the classes I have taken are great and always fun. Teachers are wonderful and very helpful when there are questions. In addition, Michelle does an absolute fabulous job (at reasonable prices) with her long arm if you need anything quilted. :) I have always found it well worth my 1 hour drive from Little Compton to go for classes. Great customer service and very helpful!

After purchasing the incorrect thread for a small project at a box store I decided to go to Homestead hoping for some advice or the specific thread. After inquiring about the thread one of the employees stated they most likely did not have what I needed but still went out back to look. The very kind woman found a similar short length of thread that she was willing to give me free of charge.

Well a huge thank you because that thread and Homestead saved the day...

Too expensive. I asked for help with one quick question and I was told they did not answer questions. I would have to take a class, they were $80 and I had to sign up for two classes. It was cheaper to throw the half sewn quilt away. Great customer service and for creating good will in the neighborhood and being just a little friendly. Never faced this before. ...
