Rating my experience with good time tours is a somber one but has also set in motion a tradition I cherish. Over an 11 year span I took this charter 3 separate times. Today 8-3-25 being the 4th. And the thing that brought me back and convinced others to check out was all due to captain Chris. The man was a legend, a story king, and an absolute god at maximizing the vibes. Though in my absence to Austin I heard of his tragic accident that left him unable to captain our beloved boat. There are few people that I’ve encountered in my life that have impacted me in such a brief time and Chris is surly one of those People. He was and I bet still is the life of the party, this man will forever have my respect and appreciation. Captain Kris is the best captain on Lake Travis. I would know, I have sailed with him 3x now. From the moment you ship out from the dock you quickly realize you are arriving to the party with the mayor of Devils Cove ; everyone wants a taste of his magic and contagious positive energy. A true professional from start to finish, Kris will make sure your party is well situated in the cove on his beautiful double decker pontoon with a waterslide and grill up top for halftime refreshments during your day on the water. This is a well oiled machine, an impressive operation, the major leagues of lake party pontoon charters. For 4 hours, you will be kings and queens of the cove, perfectly positioned amongst fellow revelers and optimally stockpiled to fully embrace the day. Can’t wait to be back.

We booked Good Time Tours for a friends Bachelor party and we all couldn’t have been more happy with them and there boat. We booked with Capt Chris over the phone and he help us walk through our options as well as giving us a good idea of Austin nightlife & restaurant very helpful. Capt Dave was our capt the day we went out and was so much fun to work with, took us all over the lake and then we tied up with a bunch of other boats and the party began. The boat was super clean, with wifi speakers and a big ice cooler for refreshments. Dave our capt was super cautious for our safety and the safety for others around us.
