Do not… I repeat do NOT work with this company. If you value communication, respect, integrity, and timeliness… Do NOT work with this company. It started off great until he got my money. I paid in May. I was told my table would be ready mid to end of July. I finally got it in September. The communication is absolutely horrible. On TWO different occasions, I arranged and blocked off my day for delivery and he did not even answer a call/text until afternoon day of. On two different occasions, he basically no call no showed his delivery appointment with me. Leaving me out time and money. I have the table now and it does look pretty but it’s still kind of sticky. I reached out letting him know the issue… And of course, no response. Zac says that he stands behind his work but his actions say otherwise. Another thing that baffles me is, he put the legs on my table so close that I cannot fit 2 chairs underneath On one side. You would think that as someone who does this for a living, that he would be aware to check his spacing. Again, I reached out on this concern as well and zero response. I have calls and texts with no response for months from Zack. It’s a shame because his work is pretty, but the quality and the experience are zero out of 10. Absolutely horrible and I would not want anyone to experience what I have. I’m leaving a review because when I checked his reviews… He had a lot of good ones… Do not believe them!! As of October 2025, The way this man runs his business is absolutely horrible. Go with someone else, there’s too many people who make pretty tables to be treated this way. I’m a business owner myself so I give grace… But when a customer is asking for communication over and over again… and the business owner ignores them over and over again (even after saying they would supply better communication), It’s not a mistake, it’s his choice to not...
Read moreHaving an epoxy river table was a wish that was just out of reach for years, and it wasn’t until recently that I was able to consider getting one. After dreaming about it for so long, I wanted it to be perfect. My sister helped me find several craftsmen in the area to choose from and the story of Zach at The Wooden Road Home resonated with me. We scheduled an appointment to meet with him after looking at his website, but the beauty of his work was even more overwhelming in person. Through Zach’s artistry, he pulls you into his designs to experience, rather than just look at. During the initial meeting, I told him what colors I wanted incorporated and the “feeling” I wanted from the finished product. He seemed to understand that this meant more to me than just picking out a piece of furniture. He invited my sister and I to watch the final “pour” and to make any adjustments in the color scheme, but none were needed. The finished product could not have come out any more perfect. Zach (and his beautiful… and very strong… and very smart… daughter) delivered the table just before Christmas 2024. Since that time, I have had multiple gatherings of family and friends around my beautiful table. Maybe it’s just an emotional time of new beginnings in my life, or maybe it is Zach’s professionalism and artistic mastery, or maybe it is a little of both, but whatever it is, it resulted in the perfect centerpiece around which to celebrate, laugh, cry, and make new memories with those who mean the most. Thank you so much, Zach. The table...
Read moreIt pains me to leave a one star review but at this point I feel like I have no other recourse. I purchased a table and bench, at first we were super happy and excited about a major purchase for our new house. Our first issue was the bench was highly unstable and grandma when visiting for Christmas fell when the bench toppled over. Thankfully a 86 year old woman didn’t get hurt and the extent of the damage were two deep scratches in our wood floor. Zach was great and got us a new more stable bench (it’s still not super stable but it’s waaay better than before). Less than a year into ownership the table started to separate at the joint and delaminating in numerous spots on the surface. Once again, Zach was great and refinished the table. Less than a year after the refinish the table has large areas where the surface is coming off. At first Zach responded that the wood wasn’t doing what he expected. He asked if I wanted to replace the table or resurface. Given his statement that the wood wasn’t doing anything he expected I asked if we could exchange the table since the wood wasn’t up to anyone’s standards. At that point I started to be ghosted. I would love to pay for the surface to be fixed but I can’t get an email or phone call returned. I’m disappointed that it’s come to me leaving a negative review but I don’t know how to move forward when someone will...
