Vineyard Beer and Spirits (LOL) — Local services in Lakewood Township

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Went to the liquor store to buy some wine at 11:20 pm on a Thursday. The cashier rang me up for a total of 41 dollars and change. I gave him $42 cash, after counting the money he proceeded to tell me that it was $49.60. I asked him why and he said that’s it was tax. I gave him the $50 and asked for a receipt. The receipt only said $2.38 which was apart of the original $41 and change. I questioned him and he proceeded to tell me that the additional amount was a “surcharge” for being open late. There was never a sign posted stating a surcharge and the amount of surcharge looks similar to an 18% tip. I definitely will be back looking to talk to the owner. This...

They stay open late which is awesome however one of their emplyees double charged us and every other employee i had spoken too had said that i need to talk to that specific employee rather than just refunding me the money. If you go here and use a card, i would suggest keeping the receipt and make sure they dont run the card twice.
