I was enjoying time with my son and daughter and we decided to look at some of the items as we typically do while waiting in line. Before we knew it it was our turn to check out and due to the stress of not holding up the line I left one of the water bottles a couple of feet ahead of where the rest of the bottles were. Letitia (who was in the middle of checking someone else out) and said loud enough so that everyone else in the vicinity heard, āIāll take that, donāt leave that thereā. Now mind you, Iām 46 but was immediately transported back to being reprimanded as a child. Everyone heard and I felt extremely embarrassed. Had she simply said in a nice manner āI can take that from youā that wouldāve made such a difference. The blond cashier 2 registers down to her said āwe have to put things away at the end of the nightā as if to excuse the embarrassment of her coworker. I responded āI understand that but thereās a way to speak to peopleā she mockingly responded āyes thereās a way to speak to peopleā I understand the fact that coworkers will band together to defend each other but it shouldnāt be at the cost of someoneās respect or dignity. I actually used to drive out of my way to shop here but will shop elsewhere from now on where Iām not exposed to such...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'd hate to write a review on my hometown, Marshalls lol but I just feel like it's necessary at this point. I have been shopping at this Marshalls for years and over the last years. I have observed the employees behaviors and attitudes change big time. Mind you I'm sure there is a huge turnover rate at Marshall's, but some of the ladies that work here have been working here for a while as well as the younger manager with the dark hair ( don't know his name) but particularly the older ladies, are my main reasons for this review. I have noticed such mean, girl, energy, and in incredibly rude employees in this store. They pick & chose if they want to do your return or not and even though it's in policy they will turn down your return / store credit if they feel like it. I have observed this a few times. They do not go by Marshall's policy. They go by how THEY are feeling. The attitude of these employees is a consistent thing. I have even witnessed them talking down on each other / making fun of their co workers & even customers on multiple occasions. At this point I don't even enjoy coming to this location anymore. I have asked others and they've also observed this bizzare behavior in this store particularly. Do better Marshall's. Mean energy serves...

I have asthma and I donāt complain about the mask Iāve been using a mask for nine years at work .
