I’m writing this review not to bash the store, but to enlighten them on a very disappointing experience I had dealing with one of their employees today. Unfortunately I did not get his name. Probably still shocked I was treated with such disdain.
Any other visit I’ve ever had, I’ve been treated very well and the staff has been more than helpful and friendly.
Today I visited the store and came across multiple rare bottles of bourbon. Now, I fully Understand that your store deals with the same questions and people hinting for bourbon 20k times a week. I know The deal. However, I politely asked if the store ever offers a percentage discount of a high volume of liquor is purchased or high dollar amount. Not even expecting a lot, but anything, as other stores have done. To my surprise, I was met with the most condescending response from an older male. I was dismissed immediately.
I proceeded to purchase almost $4000 worth of bourbon (definitely not due to his superb customer service). Since there appeared to be plenty in stock, I asked the clerk if there happens to be more, because I intended to buy them, if so. His response, with the same feeling of disdain, “I have no idea....” . Me hoping he may contact and actual manager or someone who may “have an idea”, was met with silence...
I was unfortunately forced to checkout with this same individual. Throughout the checkout process there was zero enthusiasm or customer service skills presented. Again, I stand by saying the rest of the staff has always been great and the prices for the stock are very reasonable. But from my experience and from what I’m hearing, other’s experience with this guy, I sincerely Hope he’s put on stock duty in the back. Face to face interactions are not for him.

Read moreSuper disappointed today after my visit. I host parties and events at my house many times throughout the year and Party Liquor is always our go to. But to be blatantly lied to, they have lost our business. The last time I was in, I asked if they had any Buffalo Trace and the older guy working the front explained how if they have them, the will be placed on the top shelf above the glass cases (where the line is) he said 1 per customer. That’s fair being that it is an allocated item. This morning I went in hoping to get lucky and get a bottle of Buffalo Trace for my Stepdads birthday. When I walked in, same older guy- I asked him if there was any Buffalo Trace and he said no.… When I got to the register to check out a bottle of Bulliet, he looked right at me and said “do you want a bottle of Buffalo Trace to go with that?” I looked at him confused and said, “I thought you didn’t have any” he then said oh “well you have to buy something to get one.” I wasn’t allowed to just buy a bottle of Buffalo Trace, I had to buy something else in order to buy the Buffalo Trace… I then said to him so your lied to me when I walked in because he said he didn’t have any…. And he then said oh someone just brought them up. Which I’m not dumb, I know they didn’t get a truck, receive it, and someone walked a case up in the few minutes I was there. Read moreI've been buying from this store for over 7 years, I spend over $300 every month on cigars and liquor, My kids and friends spend the same amount every month. Friday I purchased two trays of ice makers, rubber type to make larger ice balls for old fashioned, They did not work at all , made a mess in the freezer. No problem, I figure This is a reputable place and I know everyone in the store, they will take the items back, mind you I had them in the original package and I had a receipt, I ripped the original package so I taped it back up, I know their distributor would take them back , for Pete's sake they were $12.00 each. The manager called his boss and his boss told him not to give me a refund or credit, mind you I was purchasing more wine. Needless to say, I told him to keep the ice racks, I left my receipt there I was so furious. I have told my entire family and all my friends not to shop there anymore, there's a perfectly good Total wines 3 miles from there. Not a good move on the manager or owner.
