Some of the staff are not friendly. So small and cramped that standing in line is an issue especially with the “6 foot rule”. I’ve gotten bullied in this store for not wearing a mask and I tell them straight out certain medical conditions exempt you. When the “pandemic” hit - this store stopped stocking single rolls of paper towels and forced ppl to buy expensive 8 packs - so price gouging customers. Decent selection but they should be grateful for having jobs and thank customers not bully them. 3.8.21 UPDATE

I went in to get deli and the young guy behind the counter shouts NO MASK NO SERVICE and makes the throat cut sign at me - not only is that violent but he did it so loud that everyone stopped and looked. I said “excuse me, I have asthma and don’t wear a mask. Everyone here knows I don’t wear one - shall we get your Mgr?” He shouts I DONT CARE! I’m not helping you without a mask! If you need something on the quick and hurry this little chain is ok to stop in. They've an atm, lottery, deli, good meat specials, produce and the sort. But, very small selection and most come with a higher price tag (except some of the meats). Be ready for a smell as soon as you walk in. UPDATE: plz read. My neighbor just quit working the deli bc they didn't pass their quality control on that area. I don't know about you and can only speak for myself. But, I take that kind of info to heart. I am already on edge about deli meats thanks to a discovery program. But to be told they didn't pass and that some that tend the area don't wash hands, drop meats pon the floor and STILL SELL. Well, let's just say that I no longer pass through the deli and only grab essentials as their prices are a bit over the top. I mean 9$ for a generic roll of aluminum foil....

Everything is ridiculously expensive, and most of the produce is rotten. I bought watermelon, only to find that the slices were molded. I saw mold on ginger root. Salad was wilted and gross looking. They had ground beef just sitting out in a cart full of stuff by the seafood. That's very sanitary, right? I've bought things from here before that I didn't realize were expired until after I got home. But it should be the store's responsibility to take expired product off the shelves, right? They don't seem to care about food safety and the quality of the stuff they sell, but seem more than happy to over charge for things, taking advantage of the fact that they are the only grocery store in lansford.
