I have been holding off commenting on my visit here because I went for a psychic reading (two kinds of Tarot cards). I've been sorting out that session. Comments to follow. The shop itself is a marvel of stones and beads and jewelry plus books and figurines. Nice friendly lady at the counter. The appointment for my reading was done in advance over the phone. Tho I have a friend who does readings there I preferred to meet with someone who knew nothing of me. PS- I know zero about cards, readings, etc. The Internet has advised me to prepare though. To really focus in why I wanted this session. To boil down all the questions we all have to direct, simple things she might be able to figure out for me. I met with Melissa. She was SO professional. Very direct and to the point. I'm not sure how one selects the cards to lay on the table but she seemed to be in the zone and thoughtful of the cards as they were laid out. She spent so much time looking over the cards and puzzling out their meaning. I fully admit at best I was expecting a novelty experience but walked out of there with tons to think about. She revealed a handful of things about me, both personal and about my position in life. From what she read in the cards she made some conclusions that I feel are very helpful. Guidance without being a "must do" list in any form. Since the session I have been thinking about everything and am taking things to heart. No radical life-overhauls. Just evaluating what I felt were enlightening insights. To sum up, I went here with the intent of getting views and opinions of someone completely disengaged from my life using tools completely foreign to me. I got way more than I expected and am completely satisfied. Do I feel my reader connected with the cosmos or displayed some sort of special extra-world prowess? I have no idea. I do know I was often surprised regarding her reading. I felt her focus was on me, on my questions and on what the cards seemed to be telling her. Forgive me, Dear Reader, if I lack the correct language to talk about this experience or describe Melissa's skills. Just remember I'm completely satisfied and fully benefited...

I stopped by for my first visit a few weeks ago after work. I have a few crystals at in my collection, but have been wanting to find a few more.

The parking lot and directions were easy to navigate. They have a variety of items from tarot cards, crystals, books, incense, jewellery and have readings (I was just looking). The crystals are priced and have a mini paper description, from spheres/ stands/ bracelets/wands/pendants/ micro filling stones and regular nickel sized stones. Everything was clean and spaced out enough where I didn’t feel like something would break, and everyone had space to browse. They have a paper and basket to note each stone, quantity, and price. There wasn’t loud music, the natural window light balanced the room, and no iffy smells to distract customers. It was easy to checkout and the staff were nice, even though I was not looking for specific items/service.

Overall, I plan on returning at some point and would recommend the place to others. I am not familiar with the astrological or metaphysical concepts so I cannot provide specific feedback about the subjects. One could easily spend 20 to 45 minutes looking around the store. Just adding to the other reviews, and supporting a local business.

This crystal reminded me...

I am not an expert on crystals but definitely more educated than most (I'll soon be certified crystal healer). My experience was opposite to the 1 star individual. I found no obviously fake crystals. Yes they have manmade crystals (eg goldstone) but many places do. Yes they have heat treated citrine, but again many places do and it's fairly obvious to see the difference. Fake? That's a very serious charge. I've found fake titanium druze at many reputable places (i dont recall seeing any druze here) but that is something that happens very often and is not necessarily the fault of the store. Crystals can look dramatically different depending on their growing conditions and who they grow with. I found no obvious fakes, if I had I would not have simply posted a negative review but would have asked and alerted the staff. They have a large selection and helpful staff. Do the crystals shine like they have been powered up by an energy master? No. And yes sometimes crystals do in the store and that's great. The lack doesn't imply anything other than a reminder that it''s your job to clean, charge and welcome your new friend to best prepare them to collaborate with you. And they do have great plug in things to set your crystal ball on I've seen...
