Hyacinth House — Local services in Lansing

The Hyacinth House always has the best prices on a dozen roses, and have nice floral arrangements in their cooler for you to take with you, or have delivered. They currently have their greenhouse full of beautiful Poinsettia plants in several colors that they can even add sprinkles to. I happen to stop in for a Christmas blanket for my beloved Mother's grave and they have multiple colors and sizes to choose from, and also have wreaths for your homes or businesses, or graves..wherever you'd like to put 1. Their prices are competitive, but things like the grave blankets were not marked, so I had to go inside and find help. Their prices were a bit pricey for cut greens , pinecone, and a very pretty, large bow, quoted for an appropriate 2ft. was either $45, or $55.00, and for a 6ft blanket was $99,00 . Now don't get me wrong, my mother is worth ever dime, but I live on a strict budget, and I'm sure my Mom would rather I spend that money on a small bag of groceries or a 1/2 tank of gas. I was not asked if I wanted to go look at them with this man, or offered anything maybe less expensive, unless I were to buy a blanket, then I'd get $10.00 off a wreath, umm...no thank you but thx anyways. I can say I have ordered blooming plants from this place, and the hydrangea they delivered to Mason for $6.00 was absolutely beautiful, large and watered when it arrived to a dear friend. So, in my honest opinion, I WILL recommend this business for all of your fresh floral and plant needs. I will pardon 1 employees lack of customer courtesy and lack of attention because I know not all employees are...

Gentleman, let's cut out the non sense..Hyacinth House is the best flower place to ever do it. Bar none hands down. Next . If you want to impress your gal or boyfriend ( frankly I don't care) we have to think out side the box. Random flowers on a Tuesday to tell your special someone they are a special someone to you will mean the world to them. But also there are some positives that you don't think of. Everyone in their work office will see the delivery guy walk in with flowers and balloons or what ever you chose to order. All the ladies there will perk up and watch as they pray they will be the talk of the office for the next week. As the delivery driver looks at the card.and asks for that name written on the card your significant other will feel like dolly parton felt for her first time on Broadway. Charged me for delivery when flowers never got to the person.I kindly asked for a refund on just the delivery they said no. They specifically told me to tell them what time they needed to be there and I said 11 am they showed up at 9:45 am when no one was available to answer.They said well we have to have a “window” can’t guarantee 11 am sharp . Okay then why didn’t you tell me the time frame in this window you speak of..If I knew they were coming so early we would have been there of course since my order was almost 70.00.They ended up refunding me my order but never apologized and said they would not refund me for the delivery.So basically I just gave a random flower shop 12 bucks for no reason.
