It was great. Our guide Max was great. It was fun kayaking through the waterways and seeing small alligators, a barn owl, some ducks and a few turtles. It was great to see all the greenery and learn a little about all the different types of plants. The only drawback was being stopped form going further down one of the bayous because of the invasive hyacinth growing over the waterway. It was also not great to see the invasive and toxic snail eggs dotting the landscape. All in all it was a fantastic 2 hour trip that lasted almost 3 hours but rest assured our guide made sure no one was going to be late by staying.
