G&G Salon is a wonderful salon! I want to start by thanking them for adding Amanda to their staff. Amanda has been my hair stylist for many years. What y'all may not know is you are very lucky to have her, not only is she an amazing stylist, she is amazing person. Years ago out of the kindness of her heart, she took the time to make me feel beautiful at one of the hardest times in my life, while I was battling cancer. Many people just do there jobs because it's work for them, but I will never be able to express how much I appreciated how she took care of me . So when I found out she was working at G&G, I was so excited. Not just because she was there but because many, many years ago Gino was my stylist when he worked at a shop on Belle Terre Blvd. I always highly recommend G&G and Amanda to all my friends, even those who don't even live in Laplace. I read reviews prior to going here and reviews were good. I didn't expect what I got though. I travel a lot for work so I've been to many places. This is one of the best salons I've been to yet .The people are incredibly friendly and they are highly skilled with color, cuts and products. I Gino did my hair. He gave me a new style, fixed my color and did a beautiful job with chosing the blending my new color .The style he helped me with and did for me was great! I couldn't be happier. I've been back since and they were just as great! I'm going back to get extensions and I can't wait. I wouldn't trust just anyone with color and now extensions too (my first extensions). I trust Gino and his crew and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to hings done right and done professionally. Awesome experience! Best decision I ever made! I booked an appointment last minute on Mardi Gras weekend and they fit me right in. Initially I booked for a trim and highlight. Gino LISTENED to me right off and helped me make a good decision on which way to go on my continued journey of repairing my damaged hair. He was not forceful just informative. I mentioned getting my eyebrows waxed and before it was over I also walked out with a spray tan!! This turned into my one stop shop for all my “treat myself” needs! They didn’t complain when I asked about additional services but better yet jumped right into seeing how they could accommodate me while helping the current customers they had.
