Initially, I thought that I found the perfect company to take care of our issue. We have a pond that started to have issues with rocks sliding & falling. I contacted Paulo to come out to do an assessment & to see what could be done to resolve. The first time he came out, he provided some good information & what needed to be done to fix our issue & gave us a rough estimate... he appeared to be very knowledgeable. Tells us the liner needed to be replaced because not only were the rocks around the pond falling in on one side, but we were also rapidly losing water which Paulo explained there may be an issue with the rocks piercing the liner once they fell in. We decided to hire him but the second time he came out he took measurements & the visit this time was different. I felt like he was trying to back pedal from how he presented things the first time. This time he tells me that his labor costs would be separate from what he estimated the first time he came out (usually when you give someone an estimate, you would also include labor as well). He stated it would be double the amount of what the liner/materials would cost; then he says he only covers his work for 30 days and would require half upfront (and got agitated when I asked if he was licensed & bonded) but I would have recourse with the company that he would buy the liner from as it's covered for 10 yrs, but as far as the work was concerned with him would only cover for 30 days. He became quickly irritated whenever I would try to understand & clarify everything he was telling me but when people are paying you, clarification shouldn't be an issue. He abruptly left with the two guys he brought with him & I haven't heard back on what the liner would cost once he took measurements. If you need anything pond related that would require someone physically going to the pond then this is the man for you and you will be more than satisfied with the end result whether it be a complete design and build or just basic maintenance. Now, if you’re looking to visit the actual location for let’s just say for some pond plants and whatever else you see that you would like for your pond then I suggest you don’t waste your time like I did. Answered 1st call and was told a time frame they would be back at Their location and to call back as I did which no one answered. Called another day no answer. Again I Called later that day which was answered with a response stating they would call me back around a certain time and even read my number back to me out loud. Never got...

I read about this place on line, and decided to make the journey across town to select a new fish or possibly plants and supplies. This is a private home, not open 7 to 7 like the ad says. We stayed out in the street and called the phone number listed for this place. A horrible rude man, whose command of the English language was debatable, answered and said go somewhere else. He made it clear he was not interested in doing business or making the dollars we were ready to spend....
