Whoever the cashier was the day I went for my first visit was extremely rude to my son. My son is African American and he seemed to have such a problem with my son over accident ringing our item up with persons order in front of us. He gave the foulest looks to my son and continued to help the people in front of us. He was deep in conversation with them greetings and all. Bagged their groceries, when it came to ring my son up he had no words. No greetings and left my son to bag his own items. Talk about horrible customer service. We lingered around to see if he bagged the groceries to the women behind us and low and behold he sure did. NEVER will we visit this disgusting behavior market again. Not to mention all his fruit was shriveled, and he was still trying to sell. Went to one down the road a bit further. So much more of a greater experience....

On the plus side, thereâs a small nursery next to the market selling live vegetable plants for $2.50 each, which is a nice touch for home gardeners. And the clean restroom is honestly the best part of the visit. With better produce and freshness, this place could really shine. But for now, itâs more...

They have a much more organized fruit and vegetable area and produce is displayed with signage notating what item is along with the price. The parking area is small but is now paved. You can park alongside the road. People that work there are very customer service oriented and answer any questions you may have. Have patience and choose your produce carefully as most need to be consumed within a day or so as produce is mostly ripe and ready to eat. Also added bonus is you can purchase your own plants for your vegetable and some fruit gardening needs. This market carries honey, jams and dry beans also. They sell large size straw hats for...
