Jim lauer is a professional barber and a Kansas City precious gem !! When not giving one of the better haircuts north of the river, he is entertaining anybody that is hanging around after receiving a haircut by picking up in doing a little plucking on the old guitar! Jim is a professional country and western guitar player hand has played with the likes of Joe diffie, amongst other names in Country Western music in Nashville Tennessee .he went down there and start playing back when I believe he was 18 and 19 years old. He still performs and records music today. His Barber shop is home of the $9 haircut! You should go by his shop off of North Brighton and just take in all the nostalgia around you since this barber shop has been around since the 50s! Jim comes from a line of barbers his father and his brothers are excellent barbers and Jim loves to be flying his model aircraft honest downtime and fishing. He is open from Wednesday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. I highly recommend this trip you will not be let...
