I've been going to this store practically since my whole life, as it's been wholly convenient since I've been an in-towner.
I have to say that, I appreciate the "personal touch" approach (See "No self check outs", just cashier lanes) that the store has. That has always been a welcome sign.
The prices are usually fair, sales are there to be had every week. The selection is also fair, usually under average, but you know when to get it when it is there.
It's a nice, quaint, quite little store! ;)
EDIT: They have done away with two registers for four short self checkout registers. But, unlike the ones at, say, Giant Eagle, at least they have hand...
Read moreExpensive. Grossly overpriced. Ask a worker a question and they look at you like your speaking pig Latin. Some of the women in the office section don't even realize a customer is standing there patiently waiting. Not the woman with the southern accent though she's extremely helpful, knowledgeable and intelligent. Then there's the deli. Slow as slow can be and I'm even talking about when there's no one in line. They'll stand behind the counter with their backs turned to you and chit chat. Forget the customer let's talk about Latrobe gossip, kids, failed dates and weight loss. Oh well...... guess...
