I prep for a procedure come in at my appointment time. Have to have a driver because you are being put under. Was told they were running behind from 1st surgery of the day. I have been told not to take certain meds, so I followed all instructions. Was put in a room with a chair because they did not have available beds. Waiting for 2.5 hours, 1or 2 people still ahead of me waiting also. If I was 2.5 hours late to see same procedure. Would I have been sent home? Treat people the way you want to be treated Is what I was tought. Will I be charged for a room on the time I was there ? I was not even prepared to go back no gown no IV not even a plastic bracelet. I also suffer with severe Back Pain. When I saw no end in sight and in severe pain I just left. Doctor did not lose out he still has other patients waiting ! But me I did the prep was up all night and now in severe pain. So they know most will not leave.Not to forget the pre op ekg X-rays and Bloo work. I had someone take off work to...

The most unprofessional medical facility in the area. I fell down a flight of concrete stairs, went in to see if I had broken anything. I was banged up, bruised and bleeding. I wasn't even offered an ice pack or bandages! It was an absolute disaster! The doctor on call was in street clothes and didn't even perform and exam of my obvious injuries. Ordered x rays and left. He sent the nurses in. I was in the room across from their station. After hearing everything about their personal lives and why everyone else was there from their loud conversations I was ready to go! They had no discretion what so ever! I read the the doctor's written report after the visit and nothing was correct! Please just go somewhere else....

My mother was recently in the Lawrence Co. Memorial Hospital for almost two weeks, & we had a very pleasant experience the entire time she was there. Dr. Gary Carr was very attentive and concerned about her health. He went as far as to call me twice about her condition with updates. Every nurse and CNA were pleasant, nice, efficient and timely.
