Fort Sill Post Exchange — Local services in Lawton

This is not a review on the exchange. It's a review on the t-mobil inside it. Got an unlimited Wi-Fi plan and a router. I was told by the sales representative that the slowest speeds we should have are 30Mbps. After a week of use, the highest speeds we got were 2Mbps and usually something under 1Mbps. I have advised everyone in the barracks and the barracks around us to not get the Wi-Fi. After talking with my battle buddies about this, I found out 1Mbps was the norm. I do not know the name of the person that sold this to us, but if you see the Santa Klaus in the attached picture peddling Wi-Fi (they get a commission on every sale as well), don't get it. This Exchange has come a long way in the last few years, they have done a lot of remodeling. It’s not a bad location the remodeling has made it better, but it is still too small for the amount of people that it needs to serve. Inside the mall in addition to the exchange there is a barbershop, GameStop, Patriot Outfitters Tactical Gear, Optical Center, Optometry Care, Fort Sill National Bank, GNC, Mickey Maker Grill, Subway, Taco Bell, Charleys Philly Steaks, T-shirt Store, Styliques Salon, UPS store. With the exception of one or two time all the staff has always been very friendly and I have had no complaints in that regard. DO NOT USE ALTERATIONS SHOP! I had 3 OCP tops done. All needed name tapes, rank and badges sewn on. The price was $89.00 which I was happy to pay. Upon coming back a week later per the vendor. The sewing job on the rank was really bad. When I questioned the work I was informed that that is how they do it! I ended up having to come back later to pick up one of the tops because they didn’t get all the hook & loop fastener off the uniform. I would have thought that an alterations shop on a military post would do better work. I wasted $89.00. There are lots of alterations shops off post and I’m sure there is one that does better...
