This is my first time to write a review (good or bad). Since my experience was so awful I felt it was necessary to share. I want to start off saying that I've had many manicures/pedicures in my lifetime and this was by far the worst experience I've had. This was my first time to go to Tuscan Nails and will most definitely be my last. I went early that morning (it was my off day), there was only one other customer getting her nails done when I walked in. I asked for a pedicure and shellac manicure. First thing, they had a lady doing my nails while I was getting my toes done. I wouldn't mind this if they were busy but they weren't. I wish I knew the gentlemans name that did my pedicure but he didn't tell me. They were talking to each other the entire time, I'm surprised my manicure turned out half decent. BUT the pedicure did not!! He did not trim or fill my toe nails nor did he trim the skin around my toenails..... the massage hurt so bad I had to ask him to stop TWICE. He kept focusing on my shin bone and digging into it. When he was done, he asked "what do you think" I examined them and not surprisingly, they were horrible. I felt like I was being punked.... the polish was lumpy and on my skin. I asked him to please re do my two big toes. Those were the worst out of my toes but I wanted to get out of there!! He re did them quickly (after huffing and puffing to his co worker). The second time was worst than the first. I wanted to leave so badly. While I had my nails under the light to dry, I looked at them again and I couldn't justify paying for it so I asked if I could have someone else do my pedicure. Anyone besides him I said. An elderly woman came and helped me and re did the entire pedicure. With that, it has been four days and my nail polish on my toes are chipping and my shellac is already coming off and turning brown at the tips. My shellac usually last...
Read moreI have salon hopped every 2 weeks since October trying to find the perfect mani/pedi. This is it. #1 The place is VERY hygienic. There are liners in the pedi bowls and the tools are all in a sealed sanitized package until use. No worry of fungus here. The first time I went on a Saturday and a male did my pedi and a woman my mani simultaneously. #2 The massage lasted forever. Everything looked great and I was out the door in 40 minutes. That's a plus for me. Because if the birth of my daughter I waited longer than I would I have liked to go back. My shellac lasted a month. It didn't look too terrible because it was French but wow no chips in a month! Today (Monday) I went back. Mani/pedi again. This time my mani and pedi were done separately by two females. It lasted an hour and 15 minutes. #3 My nails look outstanding. The massage...
