I wanted to take a moment to speak about the staff at this store. I do not know their names but there was a female and a male (presenting) working on Feb 24, 2024 at opening. I came in with my two kids. Long story short my son had a meltdown of epic proportions inside the store as we were waiting to checkout. It should be mentioned my son does have some sensory processing issues as well as other diagnoses so please do not think he is a “bad kid” from reading this. Moving on, the pair that was working this day were incredibly kind! They showed compassion towards him and myself and grace. I was so worried due to the scene that was being caused that we would be asked to leave or that they’d get upset. Nothing like that happened. That tried talking to him calmly and reassured him and were overall patient towards and with me. Once he calmed down we were able to make our purchase. The whole interaction was not rushed at all and they even gave my son a pack of Pokémon cards on the way out. The way they handled this was extremely considerate. Quite honestly one of the best video game stores I have ever visited. The employees care about you, listen to you, and know their games and game systems. I have walked in there wanting to try something new and different and because of their diligence in listening to what I like to play they have recommended games that have been amazing. They are also not afraid to steer a person clear of a game that would not be suitable for them or simply is not worth the money. They are very honest about the products they sell, what is good and what is not so good. Usually I don't post reviews but this really irritates me... I bought my son 2 games that he already has (from somewhere else) so My son took the games still in plastic to exchange them for new games or store credit. First they tell him they can not except them because there in plastic to take it off. So he did that and then he's given $11 for both games because "there used now" that's terrible and you should be ashamed of yourself taking advantage of young kids like that knowing your going to turn around and resell them for at least...
