5 stars for TRAVIS, our instructor for Skiing!! He did a great job in teaching us how to ski properly. Even built confidence for everyone throughout the day!!
4 stars for the resort and nice staff around.
3 stars for the overly priced food, fries and chicken strips were too salty. Im just glad there's food available bec i did not bring my own.
2 stars for the overly priced day pass. My husband and I spent $300 for a day pass, with rental and lesson. (We also had to buy snow pants for $88 a piece at a big 5 store close to us). It was a splurge!!!
1 star for Andy Purdy, the guy who worked at the rental. (I work in a retail pharmacy for iver 5 yrs and obviously know how to handle customers) Andy was straight up rude. My husband and I walked up to him, my friend who did not need rental followed us for guidance, and this guy LOST IT. "Whoa there one at a time, easier if you go there" asking my husband to go to his coworker. Thing is, we are paying together and if we separate, one would have to go to the other for payment anyway. But he was not nice about it. After scanning our papers, he would just throw the scanner in front of us like a little child throwing a tantrum. When my husband dropped his lift card, ANDY said "your toe" and pointed at his toe, without saying anything. Husband looked at his toe, wondering what's up. Then he pointed at our friend's foot. "Your fright foot" and literally no one knew what he was F*ing talking about. He just stared down, until we finally saw that we dropped something that my husband was stepping on to his heel (u cannot see). If he couldve just said we dropped something, that would've been great, but NOOOO.
0 stars for Andy smacking my head to tell me that my helmet is unstable. A heads up would've been nice, BUT NO. He slapped my head. Slowly, but rudely. Thanks buddy....
Read moreI have been riding this mountain for 25 years. I was even an employee for a couple of those years in 04 and 05. I love it there and will keep going, but think they need to fix the ticket and season's pass prices. Now that they are $100, people can't afford to go. Maybe offer special reduced weekday passes and stop increasing seasons passes every year (select pass is now over $400 for the early season deal). I also used to get buddy passes for free with my seasons pass. Now they just give you a discount for ski with a friend passes. Im all for good changes and the Brooks chair is a good upgrade for beginners, but that's not a huge improvement for the experienced skiers that have been coming for years. I'm just not seeing the value of the new...
Read moreWent up there for my birthday on January 11 and had the worst snowboarding experience of my life. Prepaid for my ticket the night before ($100) got to the mountain and was told all parking lots were full and to come back at 3pm. I visibly saw a person leaving so a spot opened up and the lot worker told me he can’t let me park there and told me to come back at 3. Ended up loosing half my day of snowboarding because all the lots were full and then when I asked for a partial refund or a some sort of compensation they completely blew me off at the booth and at customer service and told me that I’ll still have “plenty” of time to ride because they close at 10. Ok thanks...
