They have an organized selection of corns, cabbages, nectars, peaches, tomatoes, watermelon, onions, lemons , jams and dried snacks. The staff members in front are young, perhaps high school age, and keeps the area clean. They are easy to detect because of their attire and that is helpful for a first timer like me. I spotted them easily and made the first move in greeting and asking questions.
I came for the sunflowers 🌻😌 There are two patches. The flowers are medium in size, mostly yellow and leafy. A handful look droopy from the extreme heat waves this summer but some are standing tall. There is no picking here but free to walk through and photograph which is a perk for me. Read moreI’m offering 2 stars simply because I have done business with them for YEARS and was always happy with the service and product until today Today we purchased a black diamond watermelon. Went home to cut into it. Hollow. And that’s not the worst of it. Was there with my nephews and my youngest accidentally dropped a stick of candy on the ground and it broke. I did not see it but heard my oldest nephew tell the woman it was broke and she was so rude, “he needs to pay for that!” Um, okay, and we will. But he’s 4 and has clear disabilities. He didn’t mean to. Prior to that, my oldest nephew was trying to talk to her (telling her it was his first time visiting a farmer’s market, that he loved visiting, etc), and she just looked at him. NEVER spoke to him. I thought it was the hearing until the candy incident. What a rude, miserable person. I will not return to...
