Last spring my husband & I were packing-up our belongings, preparing to move to our new home. I began to experience intense back pain & muscle spasms. The usual OTC medications giving me no relief from the constant pain. Our family physician prescribed muscle relaxers, which seemed to work for a few days & then stopped working. The pain & back spasms continued unrelenting day & night. I was at wits-end! I needed all of my physical strength, now more than ever, for the move. My husband suggested I try his chiropractor. Never understanding what chiropractic medicine was about, I always thought it would be like going to a “witch doctor” and did not truly believe it would help me. At this point I obviously had nothing to lose, excepting for pain. So reluctantly off I went to The Center for Natural Health & Rehabilitation to give chiropractic medicine a shot. At my first visit the doctor did a thermal scan of my spine, came up with a strategy, explained how it all works, answered all of my questions, and performed a series of adjustments. I have to say, I was over-joyed on the next day when I already had less pain & fewer back spasms!! I was genuinely amazed and was able to physically function at a level I needed to be at for the move. The spasms had completely ceased within the first week or two & after 2 months of 3 sessions per week, I no longer had back pain! I’m currently seeing the good doctors at The Center for Natural Health & Rehabilitation for another issue I’ve been struggling with. Other doctor’s practices should come here to observe & learn a thing or two about how to treat their patients with compassion, understanding, & respect! When you walk in this door you are greeted with a warm smile & a “hello, how are you today Laura?”. That’s right, they remember your name!! How refreshing it is to be on the receiving end of such special treatment. All of my life if I wasn’t feeling well for whatever reason, I always went to see a medical doctor for a diagnosis & treatment. Now, depending on what problem I may be experiencing, I consider going to see the chiropractic doctors at The Center for Natural Health & Rehabilitation. It's by the grace of God that Dr. Jody came into my life! I developed sciatica which I had had in the past and thought it was due to stress. This time it was so excruciating that I literally didn't sleep for weeks which turned into months. Living on Nantucket makes it difficult to find great alternative treatments. After trying mulitple different modalities on and off island and to no avail my physician ordered an MRI of L/S. I could barely walk without the excruciating pain when I went off island for it. The very next day my physician called and said I needed to see a spinal surgeon Monday and that if I didn't I could lose control of bladder and bowel functions and have bilateral leg paralysis(cauda equina syndrome). Needless to say I was quite alarmed and sent Dr. Jody my MRI. He reached back to me and said I'd be a perfect candidate that could benefit from the spine med bed. My husband drove me down to NJ to my brother and his family in the next day. As I slowly made it into the house my sister in law saw me and called Dr. Jody (Friday afternoon) and he said bring her right in. Thus my treatment began 3 times a week then after one month I went daily. The agonizing pain subsided immensely after the 3rd week. I stopped the gabapentin and cbd completely after my last treatment. I could finally sleep at night without the nerves screaming at me! For someone who prayed to God to be released from this world on a number of nights to a new life where I'm walking with no pain having my life back and helping others. The people in the office, everyone of them Jody, Dr. Mike, Angie, Allie, Lisa, Jen and JP made this experience one I will never forget. The kindness and compassion each one had was heartwarming. The incredible energy there is so conducive to the healing process. Dearest Dr. Jody and Dr. Mike and all thank you for giving me a new life! And to my brother Tim, sister in law Jean who took care of me driving to appointmens with me for 6 weeks. PS I share spinemed therapy with all those suffering and not to opt for surgery.....there's always another way! with profound gratitude...

In 2018 I was in so much pain I did not know where to go next. Thank God I was referred to Dr. Jody who brought me back to a life of pain free living. I would recommend the Center for Natural Health and Dr. Jody to anyone who has back pain and wants to get back to a pain free life. I walk, play golf and just do all the things now that I can not have possible done in all that pain. Thank you Dr; Jody and your talented, trained staff.

Once again, on January 20, 2020, I woke up after a fall with pain and numbness in both lower legs and went to my family Doctor. After my exam, I was told by my Nurse Practitioner that the numbness in my lower legs was something that needed the attention of a Neurologist. Instead, I called Dr Jody and went to his office today January 22 in such distress about the numbness. After Dr. Jody adjusted me, I felt a rush of blood flowing back into my legs and the numbness began to go away. I am so happy that I did not go to the other Doctor before I saw Dr. Jody to help. I am so blessed to have him in my healthy life. This is the second time I was at my wits end and afraid that something really bad was happening to my back and legs and he is fixed me without drugs or surgery. I am BLESSED! Anyone who is experiencing pain or numbness needs to go see Dr. Jody and his staff of Doctors "first" before any other course of action. You will never regret and will never...
