My husband and I used the Courtyard Marriott at Lebannon as part of our wedding weekend and unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations we come to expect from the Marriott establishment. From the onset, communication between myself and the hotel was sparse and I would only receive a response to inquiries about the room selection process after sending MULTIPLE messages to the event coordinator. One of the few times I did receive a response from the hotel was to be informed that the former coordinator was no longer working for the hotel and that a new individual would work with us. I was hopeful that with the change in personnel, the service and response time would improve. The first couple of exchanges with the new coordinator were positive in the fact that she did respond within a reasonable timeframe. Unfortunately as the date to our wedding weekend grew closer, it became more of the same in which I would reach out for follow up and have to wait days without a response. It was frustrating to say the least to learn that after we committed to the number of rooms in order to receive a complimentary room, that we were told that our suite that we were using during the weekend could not be comped as the suite was not part of the complimentary rooms deal. NO WHERE in the contract that I signed stated this information and when brought to the attention of the event coordinator, the response was “its company policy.” I suggested that since the Suite could not be comped, could we receive a credit off of the final bill given that we also are having an open bar and Breakfast during the weekend and once again was told that this could not be allowed. During the evening of the open bar at the hotel, we were provided wrist bands to give to our guests and was informed that they would be sufficient for the bar (top shelf) and food that was chosen. I noticed within minutes that other guests were eating the food which we brought to the attention of the bartender on duty, to which he replied, there was nothing he could do. A few of the guests wanted beer instead of liquor and was informed that beer was not included in the menu- I was able to resolve the issue with the manager on duty in order to provide beer to the guests, but again it was frustrating to deal with this mishap when less than an hour before, I was celebrating with the same guests the happiest day of my life. We were informed that there would be signage to let guests know where breakfast was being held, and unfortunately this was not provided until after I made it aware of the attention of the associate/manager on duty at the front desk. I was informed as part of the contract that I would receive points for the BEO either to Marriott or my choice of travel program, which I still have not received to my account. In addition, I still have not received a final bill showing the charges that occurred during that weekend for the snack bar and breakfast buffett. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the lack of transparency and care that the staff at the Courtyard Marriott in Lebanon showed me and my husband during the weekend that we were there. I would not recommend anyone to stay at...
Read moreI will not stay here again. I planned our stay with my wife and daughter along with 2 other families. so total of 6 adults and 5 kids. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was due to the indoor pool. when we arrived to check in my wife was taking my daughter to look at the pool and it was covered in plastic and closed. we questioned associate at desk and they explained the accident that happen with a room having a leak above and pool will be closed for some time. First of all there was no mention of this when we checked in until we asked, in my opinion this should have been part of the greeting process when guests arrive. anyway, this was a major disappointment since this is the main reason we chose this hotel. we planned on coming early and swimming for a few hours before heading out to the balloon fest. So we all approached the associate again to see if we can get some kind of compensation or refund and she really had no answer for us and said she would talk to the manager. I understand this was out of the hotels hands and this was a last minute accident, but the associates greeting guests should have had some kind of plan in place for this situation. So now, we wait to her back from the associate after speaking with manager and nothing!! no follow, no calls, no action, NOTHING! So now its the next day and we see the same associate, she walks right by us and still no follow up, no sympathy, NOTHING! So now i am a little upset. I work in customer service and I feel she should've said something to us about this, whether she talked to manager or she still waiting, anything to make us feel wanted. but she walked right by us. So now I have to go back to room and pack and then check out, I waited to see if she would now say anything during check out and still NOTHING!! How in the world could she be dealing with guests and not making sure I got some kind of follow up or answer. Very sad. In my customer service every day and I would never just ignore a customers request and not follow up with them on a request. So now I have to bring it up to her to get any answer and she says she cant do anything since I prepaid. Short and simple NOTHING!! Now both of the families i came with received substantial discounts. this is ridiculous and I expect a call back and to received a discount also or a free room or something. And to add to all this, they put us in the room directly across from the damaged room and no mention of this either. there were...
Read moreThis was a nice clean hotel, and for the most part it was actually very quiet as well. But it’s a hotel so you can always expect to hear somebody pacing Around the room on the floor above you. ||The products were decent. I actually forgot my own shampoo/conditioner and soap, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use these again. In fact, since I may be traveling back to this hotel, I wouldn’t even bother bringing my own. Might as well save some space in the luggage.||It was great to have a little Starbucks in the lobby, it’s not what you’d expect from a normal Starbucks, but it was the same coffee and they had a mini of the same food products. ||I enjoyed the avocado toast and a colleague of mine ordered the breakfast burrito. We both enjoyed them. And the staff that managed this area was extremely friendly. ||In the evenings, I didn’t notice if they served food, but we did stop and share a pint before calling it for the night. Many other travelers used it to hang out and catch up, we even saw some people bring their own board games. ||The only issue I had during the entire stay was apparently I had the only room with a tree branch that proceeded to scrape against the window and cause a horrible sound inside. It would’ve been nice if somebody would’ve come to check it out rather than giving me the only option of packing up my belongings and moving them to a new room, I was too tired and not interested in doing that, so I ended up sucking it up. Hopefully they resolve this for the next person, but it looks to me like this overgrowth has been there for a little while. ||I would recommend The hotel as it’s in a great location for this area and it was a...
