Draude's Derailment — Local services in Lebanon

One star is too high. May be a great place to shop but DO NOT use them for repairs. They had my train for 2 months. After a month I called once a week for 3 weeks and each time they didnt know where it was so I stopped by to look for it. Was told I will get it when they find it and it may have been stolen. No seperate secure location for customer repairs. Sentimental value so I looked. Located it in 3 minutes. It was fixed. Owner said they called but my phone was out of service so my fault. Had the owner call me. Cell phone went ring, ring. Apparently that meant I was being smart with him so I got kicked out of the store. Angry lil man wouldn't even let me pay for the repair. We have been going here for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. He has a very good variety of HO trains and accessories(some N scale), scenery materials, slot cars, children's train varieties, models, and pinewood derby materials. It isn't the most organized store, but for the many deals you can get on the items, is worth it to look through it all. Also, John(the owner) is super nice and knowledgeable if you have questions. My husband and I go here frequently for our train items. The owner and his wife are very kind people. One day it was slightly raining and I had my dog along and Mr. Draude permitted her to come inside. Ever since then she goes along with us to the store. Her tail wags and she is always happy to visit. Prices are VERY reasonable and discount given if you pay in cash. Something to keep in mind if you plan on spending a lot.
