Made an online pickup order today that was submitted around 10:30 am for 8 bags of pellets to prepare for the winter storm we're supposed to get in the area over the weekend. Got the confirmation of submission email shortly after, never got the order ready for pickup email, so went in store at 5pm to ask them about it. They looked it up and turns out no one picked the order to fill. The cashier told me to go to the aisle and load it myself, just to find none on the pallet. When I submitted the order the website said there was plenty in stock btw, so in the 7 hours I'm waiting for my order to be ready the stock was completely out. So the employees had 7 hours to contact me (just like how any other store such as kroger,Walmart, tractor supply, home depot, lowes, bascially everywhere else, does with online order) regarding the stock of my order and decided not to, or just decided to completely ignore that they had this pick up today order to fulfill. Asked for a cash refund so I can go somewhere else that has these pellets because what else am i supposed to do in a time crunch when i absolutely need these pellets, and they said the refund will be done electronically within 1-3 days. Really don't get why this company has online ordering if they're just going to intentionally inconvenience the purchasing party and behave like I was the one to blame for their level of unprofessionalism amd incompetence. This whole situation could have been avoiding if these employees had the capacity to act accordingly. Cant wait til the tractor supply here in lebanon opens up so i dont have to go to the one in springboro instead of wasting my money with these incompetent monkeys.
The cashier who handled this was named Andrew and he was working with a half bald trailer park cherib looking dude who laughed in my face about backstock for the pellets being...
Read moreWhat an interesting store. I wasn't looking for farm equipment, but a small bright keychain light. In all the huge departments I wondered where would I look for that? I'd seen a picture of them in an advertisement for $1.99 each. I just started asking people that were shopping there where I might look. One person told me sometimes they have small things in jars on shelves along the middle isle of the store. I went that way and saw some pocket tools, but no lights. I made my way to the automotive department because keyring things are sometimes associated with cars. Hmm, not there though. So I went to sporting goods and got lost amongst the fishing poles where I fished out a few rods with reels on them. This took a while because these reels were handshaking each other and it was like solving a puzzle and I had to take 15 poles out to get to free the 3 poles I wanted to see. Then I had to put them all back. After that time consuming process, I wandered up and down a few isles that were in the vicinity between sporting goods and automotive and on the inside end of an isle, I found the cool flashlight section and the cool keyring lights. So then I begin testing out these lights and sorting the colors, and ended up getting 2 keyring lights for $1.99 each and a bendable standing flashlight that can also be used as a work light. It stands up by itself with a strong magnet that holds tight to a metal shelf or file cabinet. It also bends in the middle to bring the light closer to what one is looking at. So, it was a successful shopping trip and if I ever need farm equipment, I know where to go. My brother has bought 3 car batteries there on 3 occasions over the years and said they were high quality. I decided I didn't need any stuffed farm animals so I just took a...
Read moreTRASH! Would be the word is would use. I can not rule out that I may have made a mistake, however, due to my local store's lack of quality equipment and personnel, I can't tell you either way. I placed an order online yesterday morning @7:30, same day pickup in store order. Website said I should receive a confirmation email with acknowledgement for my order. Left @ 3:30 from work and had not received the email. Went to local store. They had no record of my order. The two employees that I dealt with were obviously bothered by looking up my order from the moment I asked if it was ready! Told me to check back tomorrow, and recommended I call first. Today I called first, and after 10 minutes on hold, they hung up. So, we drove up there. It was busy, I get that. Unlike yesterday, though! Both girls were just talking yesterday. No customers. I decided to ask for a manger, just to make sure all efforts were taken. Asked him about my order, then had to wait for registers to be freed up because they only run teo registers. I mentioned the email order confirmation, and was told their email does not work! And, again, they had no information about my order. I will not attempt to order online again. I will not bother to go back to your Lebanon store for any reason. I will seriously consider never shopping at Rural King at any location. Low prices on some of your stuff does not justify poor investment into your store's ability to handle...
