Tennessee State Fair — Local services in Lebanon

I think if I could give a 0 star I would. This fair is terrible. I don't do fair rides because of all the stories I hear about people getting injured. There was really nothing to do. The animal area was so small and stunk really bad. The food trucks had no real appeal to them so my wife and I went to Edleys instead. We walked the fair in less than 40 minutes. There was nothing for my wife and I to stop at and look. The carni games were typical and I noticed on one of the basketball games the ball was bigger than the hoop. Not worth the drive and I'm surprised it has lasted over 100 years. I will not be going back. Also, they had a special with Kroger that if I bought the ticket at Kroger it was $5 instead of $8 at the gate. Well, Kroger did not have the special anymore and I tried buying the ticket on 9/12 and the fair ended on 9/15. When I got to the fair they said that you have to buy the tickets before the fair starts. They didn't honor the deal. But, if you look at the fair website it still has that promotion on their website and the Kroger had the promotion at their registers. Another reason why I won't...

First of all Tennessee we can and should do much better than this. No new car show, extremely small barnyard ( petting zoo) for the kids, very few vendors, no companies giving out samples. We left extremely disappointed and downright embarrassed of what had been put together and then called it a State Fair. Next time please put the peoples name who put it together and not the great state of Tennessee and maybe they will do a better job. The concessions were way overpriced and really were not that good. The best part about the fair was the pig races and that was pretty neat and a lot of fun to watch. The people doing it had a great sense of humor and everybody was laughing at one point or another. The cow milking process was pretty neat as well and one of the cows had a new calf born this week. If you are tight on money dont waste your time but if you have a lot to blow then by all means head that way, just dont expect a lot or you will be dissatisfied and...

My family did not enjoy it was to high we pay $35 a piece for wristbands it was hardly anyone rides and most of the children could not get on rides because because of heights not only that it was over price for that we want never got there again and the workers was very rule the drinks was over price you pay $10 then for a refill it was $5.00 taste like water for now now on we at Wilson county Fair it was much better and funnier with more rides and price was not high at all The wristband was more cheaper Tennessee fair the Tennessee fair...
