My experiences have usually been good until Friday may 8th around 2pm. I went through register 2 with a cashier named Margrite I believe other staff called her. She was VERY disrespectful to a customer before me harassing him about not fitting his groceries into one bag ( that he brought), then she was VERY disrespectful to me. Yakking at me about how my EBT card needed replacing, not her business, I've known for weeks. Maybe she should tell the state to open so I can get tight on that!!!!! This isn't Stop and Shop or Big Y, it's a small local grocery store. It meets our needs most of the time but sometimes I have trouble finding what I need there, either because if need to restock, or they just don't carry it. Like fresh cranberries. I never find them here. Sometimes I wish their produce selection was bigger. That being said, their gluten free selection is great and they have a variety of dairy free "ice creams" for those with allergies, and they do have some good deals and I like the gas rewards. Village Market has gone down hill not sure of the owner but the store is horrible second time in one month I buy meat get home and it’s bad they knew when they packaged that pork it was bad they are going to kill someone. My aunt told me there meat is always bad if you don’t cook it on your way home in your car don’t eat it smfh this is horrible the last time it happened I brought it right back for the cashier to tell me I can put it back on the shelf.
