My second time here. last year it was new and needed some maturing. This year was much better. The course is well maintained and for the price it is a must play. I wish there were 18(9 different) holes of this. It feels like a championship course. Firm greens and fairways the greens roll very well. My reason for 3 stars is that each green has 2 flags to make it play a little different for a second 9. This would not be a problem if they had larger greens and if the course was designed for that. Also I had a foursome walking in front of me and was never given the chance to play thru. No ranger checking pace of play even though they were playing fast I a single golfer would be out of the way in 5 minutes. The bottom line is this is a great course that is worth the trip up M22. 9...
Read moreA lot of blind doglegs here, to very slick greens, so sightlines and vistas are lacking. Greens are fun to putt, and tricky around the hole. Very nice clubhouse and pleasant staff. The par-3 8th and par-4 ninth are fine finishing holes. Not a fan of the dogleg third hole, the dogleg fifth or the seventh, in which you hit a blind tee shot through a corridor of trees to an open collection area in front of the green. The one par-5 is a good test and a true three-shot hole, but, again, another dogleg. Great to have another addition on the...
Read moreGreat little course! This is my first time playing it. It is a 9 hole course, but we decided to play 18. I am glad we did, we got to see all the little nuances the first time through. If you hit a straight ball, you will shoot a low score. There a few holes if you go left or right, you a going to be taking a penalty. It is not overly difficult. The pace of play was great! Everything was well-manicured and kept up. Beautiful course! I highly suggest heading up to Northport...
