I found out several months ago about this waterpark but was able to finally go today because I have heard it is alot of fun. We get there and with me I have my son and 4 other kids. We arrived around 12:30 and payed to get in and the kids dove right in. Three of the kids wore basketball shorts instead of swimming trunks which they had on when we first came in. Around 4 30 the lifeguards blow the whistle to get back in the water and one of the male lifeguards looks at the kids and blows the whistle and tells them to get out. My son ask him why and he said he couldnt get back in until he went and put swimming trunks on. So the people at the front that i spoke witg couldnt do anything besides tell me to go to walmart and but them swimming trunks and co.e back so i went to the manager. Once again she said the same thing and said it was a health code violation which the only difference is one has a underwear liner and trunks dont. I had to beg her to let us stay for an hour and let them swim. I have read several reviews before going and after and most of them was about the male lifeguards being mean and nasty to the kids. HINT IF YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE THAT POSITION THAT IS YOUR CHOICE IF YPU HATE YOUR JOB OR KIDS DONT RUIN THEIR DAY! Find a new job or stop being so mean. As for the staff that are managers and higher up obviously you have read these reviews because I myself work with the public andI know our managers and the owners read every review and take it serious. If there are several reviews about this same issue obviously there is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. We as customers pay to get in there to have a fun day not to be treated and talked to the way they treat and talk to people especially kids because they are innocent and dont understand. Needless to say we had a nlast but we will never go there again because of the way we...
Read moreWon't be returning. Once we arrived at the pool from more than 55 mins away we walk up to pay for admission... 2 adults and 4 youth boys before handing them $58 the cashier looked at our "attire" and said we all had the proper attire.... I then pay them. We get into the pool first floating in the lazy river... Then one the rope obstacle course.... All the children are enjoying themselves... We eat lunch since it was adult swim time. Once kids are welcomed back in my oldest son goes down the slide... Once he reaches the bottom the lifeguard MICHAEL tells him he is not allowed to swim in any of the pools because he is wearing basketball shorts... Wait. . What?! So I go talk to him and he repeatedly says he isn't allowed to swim in basketball shorts... Mind you the cashier said we had proper swim attire.... So I go back up to the cashier and ask to speak with a manager... Who says he cannot swim... She gets the cashier and he says "it may of sounded as if I said everyone had proper sswimwear but that's not what I meant"..... Okay... So I ask for a refund for my oldest boy... Just him... Not for all of us... NO REFUNDS.... So needless to say we all left after the manager said "if I see him swimming again you all will be made to leave"..... All the swim parks back home allow basketball shorts. Had he mentioned to us he couldn't swim in his basketball shorts I would have went and got him a pair of swim trunks since I had already left once due to running out of sun block. They were very rude not just with the swimming trunks but other things as well. Don't waste your...
Read moreVery lively place, me and my family go here every year as often as possible, weâre from Germantown so itâs about an hour and half drive for us. But worth it. It does get PACKED quick but not too crowded. There is a swim clothing policy, I wish it was more enforced, some people wear clothes in the water which looks ghetto, and gets caught on other swimmers at times.
Life guards are great, they could do better on settling the kids, in the lazy river at least, some people just want to relax like itâs attended too, but some kids will kick you out and they wonât give them a warning or guard the pool, some people hold their kids/babies and they turn a blind eye, possible drowning and or injury, NEEDS TO BE ENFORCED ASAP.
Over all the food is good, bathrooms are clean, site is clean, they clean up the eating around at like a 30 min-1 hour shift, have a supervisor walking around checking on people. Very nice.
They have two family changing restrooms that lock.
Dip and dots. Lockers. Baby/child play area, 1-1.3 inches with rope. Good seating.
If I were to make a suggestion. Remove the grass and add sand. It would prevent the grass track into the water which gets dirty quick and they wonât clean it up.
Please control the kids, at best warn them, and then get them out until they stop, it isnât safe !
Question ? Adult swim used to be 15 ish - 30 mins but itâs less than 5? What is going on? The adults are the ones that pay and donât get nearly enough time to go, especially when that 5 mins is spent...
