We have always been loyal customers to another furniture chain for 20 years but they didnāt have what I was looking for. The salesperson, Richard, was awesome to work with even though we couldn't make up our mind on a living room suit and kept putting off making the purchase. He was extremely patient with us and was very knowledgeable on the product. We ended up purchasing a very nice leather suit and delivery was very professional. Richard kept us informed on delivery the schedule and since we were going to be out of town for a period, arranged for delivery on our schedule.
After a months use, we thought the seating that we were using wasn't holding up as far as the "stuffing" was concerned. I know a certain amount of breakdown on the "stiffness" of the seats as they get broken in is to be expected and is normal, but, we thought it was extreme for such a short period of time. We called Babette's and they immediately schedule a tech to come check it out. Bruce, the service tech, was outstanding. He never made us feel we were expecting too much and actually suggested he redo the padding for us. He went above and beyond in service. We could not be more pleased with Babette's and in particular Bruce, our service tech. He definitely knows what he is doing!! Also, our sales person was outstanding,
UPDATE: 7 years later... So, I didn't mention before that we only are using this furniture 6 months out of the YEAR, so technically, we have used it 3.5 years. This is not Babette's fault, but, DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND! THEY SHOULD NOT EVEN CARRY IT IN THEIR STORES. There wasn't that many reviews when we purchased it. But, looking now, everyone has the same problem. We have replaced the padding in the seating of the portions of the furniture that we use daily when we're here three times, that makes it almost once a year. Where the vinyl connects to the leather on the sides of the seats it is all splitting. I checked with a furniture repair place since our expensive furniture is not under warranty, and, I was told there's no way to repair that so it would hold up unless you recover the whole thing. So for $10,000 worth of furniture I am taping the splits together. Again, do not buy this furniture brand. Loads of complaints online. Check it out. My recommendation would be to look at Lazy Boy, Natuzzi or Flexsteel. We've had leather furniture that we sold after 20 years with absolutely...

When the chairs were delivered, one was not what we had ordered at all and had to be remade. Another 8 weeks later and the correct model was delivered, but it does not sit at all as the chair that was picked out did. I am being told that maybe in 9 months or so it will break in and no longer feel as if sitting on rocks. And since the issue is simply one of comfort, albeit extreme discomfort, they are happy to fix it for only another thousand dollars. Interesting that the second chair was exactly as we purchased and did not require months to be usable . The salesman has tried and they did send someone to remove some of the extreme over stuffing, but no mention was made at time of purchase that 50%of their products would be unusable for almost a year! We will certainly never purchase from this store again. Their solution is that I should have been grateful for their "upgrade" even though it was not what I ordered and paid for.
Before: We decided to buy ourselves a treat for Christmas, we did a considerable amount of comparison shopping. Our salesman, Hunter, at Babbette's was by far the kindest, most knowledgeable person we spoke with. He went far above and beyond to help me due to my broken leg and made sure that we found exactly what we wanted.
